Roger Clemens Update
For all the haters in the media, you can now eat a full serving of shut the hell up. Since Clemens joined the Yankees he has used his “family escape clause” exactly zero times. All of the media members and yankee haters proclaimed how Clemens was a bad teamate because he was not going to be with the team and how could the Yankees let a player do this and blah blah blah. Well now we see what Clemens plans on doing with that contract clause…..he plans on being a great teammate. The Yanks need him now and he knows it, the Yanks young pitchers need him around and he knows it and the clubhouse needs his passion and fire and he knows it so he is focused on helping the Yanks win. Media members, Clemens haters and Kyle Farnsworth….Go suck it!!!

Sorry Pop but Runny is AWOL and I am waiting it out until college football season. I might post some picks on the UFC fight this weekend but my last group of picks were terrible so I am currently studying the lines to see if anything jumps out at me. Stay tuned cause picks will be returning with more regularity down the road when Runny returns.
I never said Clemens pitching would be what the Doctor ordered for the Yanks, it was the intangibles and his competitiveness. I could care less if he is on the juice. It is plain and simple, the Yanks will be nothing if Wang, Andy P. and the Moose cannot pitch. Lately they have been good, if they keep it up they will roll now that Giambi is out of the lineup, the pitching can go deeper and they play more small ball with Miggy Smalls Cairo. If they do not pitch well they will return to playing sub .500 ball. Clemens can not save them and I never said he would.

Is it frustrating that you’re still 8.5 games back after such a hot streak?? Yes - the Sox have struggled lately…Yes - the Yankees are hot…and yet it’s so hard to make up ground. That’s got to frustrate you and Ass-Rod. Clemens has been good so far and a good teammate…but everyone is happy when the team is winning. Wait until they struggle again and see how well Clemens acts.
