Free Winning NBA Picks: 3/30/09
Greetings folks. We hope you had great weekends with NCAA and NBA action. Our last NBA picks were issued last Friday (3/27/09). We went 4-3 overall and 1-0 with our Game 1 picks. Not at all where we want to be, but we’ll take a winning night anyway we can get it. A short docket tonight only netted us two picks. Here they are:
Game 1. Warriors -5 vs. Grizzlies. We love the young Griz and how their D is starting to shape-up, but the Warriors can score a lot of points. The Warriors take care of the ball much better and can abolsutely bomb it from behind the arc. They have an agressive backcourt on the D side, too. We love them at home in this one. They dominate our system match-up and they win our two keys. We think the Warriors roll to an easy cover.
Game 2. Magic -3 vs. Heat. DWade scares us in this one, but our system says Magic. The Magic win the system match-up and sweep our two keys. The Magic dominate the Heat on the glass, too. DWade probably drops 50 tonight, but we think the Magic cover. Even on the road.
That’s it for tonight. FYI-in the other two games tonight (Bucks-Nets & Knicks-Jazz), there were no system advantages, so we are staying away. The teams stacked-up pretty much the same.
As always, good luck with your picks.

Yeah. Not a good night. i watched that NJ game. How da fuk do you get blown out at home like that? I took NJ -6 for the 2ndhalf thinking they would wake up and recover against these bums. NOPE! Got screwed on that bet too. NJ was just not in the game, Bucks were hot and the refs sucked. I was regretting not taking GS last night…..until that 4th quarter when their offense collapsed.
I’m getting to the point where I’m only gonna take a couple of favorites consistently and taking the dog on the rests.
Here is tonights. I’m going hard on Detroit. Here is why. Rasheed and Rip are back, Detroit has played the elites tough. Cleveland has been resting starters during blow outs allowing the opposition to close the gap just enough to fuck with the cover. I think Det +10 is a great play versus anybody.
I was gonna ride with the Spurs at -11, but once it jumped to 13, I gotta go with OKC. The are beasts as dogs. As long as the Lakers arent favored by 10+ or playing an elite, i will always take them -6
