Week 17 Free NFL Winning Picks 2008 and Hot Chicks: Back to Basics!

We went 3-3 last Sunday and are hoping this weekend is our chance to bring us back over .500 on the season. Just like the global economy, Team RPJ has been battling its own demons this year. On the season RPJ is 27-28, Flash Flash is 14-8 and Runny Pelvis is 19-36-2.

RPJ Syndicate Picks

Yes call us stupid for bettting NFL games in week 17. We know the teams are a mess with who starts and who sits and who is playing for something and who is packing it in. We like to live dangerously and think there is some money to be made betting on teams that are playing for something.

Lions @ Packers (-11): This is the Lions Super Bowl and they have been competitive and they will be playing to avoid history. In the immortal words of the great Dave Chappell, “M-A-R-S, Mars bitches!!” We are rollin’ with the Lions in this one. Not only that, we think they win outright. Even if they don’t, this is way too many points. The Packers are terrible. Runny road-tripped to Chitown last Monday to sit in the cold and watch this crap team. That’s twise this year he has seen them suck it in sub-zero temperatures. They will again. Take the Lions and the points.

Rams at Falcons (-14): Rams are terrible and the Falcons are possibly playing for the division. Falcons are at home and playing one of the worst teams in football. Falcons win and cover big!

Pats at Bills (+5.5): With a win and some help the Pats can make it into the playoffs. A lot will depend on who wins the Jets/Fins game. Bills stink, have no defense and are not playing for anything. Pats win big and cover!

Browns at Steelers (-11): The Browns were a bigger favorite at the lowly Eagles. One of our readers posted to our fan page on Facebook and called this his 5 star presidential lock of the year. We agree. Take the Steelers to win big and cover!

We love you too Kristen Bell!

Flash Flash Picks

Oakland at Tampa (-13): We know the Raiders have zero chance of winning this game. I am not convinced they can even score. Bucs win big and cover!

Cowboys @ Eagles (-1): The Cowboys are terrible and soft, but they know they need this win. They want it more than the Eagles. We have no faith in McNabb. He will wear Demarcus Ware as backpack again. The Boys will do everything they can to lose this game, but so will the Eagles. The Boys win out right. Take them and the points.

Panthers @ Saints (+1.5): The Panthers need this win to win the NFC South. The Saints are hurt and are not plying for anything but stats. This is way to little points to give. The Panthers will win by at least a TD. Take the Panthers and give the points.

2008 Week 11 Free NFL Winning Picks: Sunday Funday!

We lost the Pats/Jets game on Thursday and we sit at 16-15 on the season. Flash Flash is 7-3 and Runny is 14-22-1. We have a bunch of picks for you this week and sticking with our NCAA theme we are coming at you with straight picks and hot chicks.

Pam might be old but she never gets old!

RPJ $ndicate Picks

Denver at Atlanta (-6.5): Denver’s D is terrible and Hotlanta is raising some eyebrows with their play. Who knew Matt Ryan would be this good?!??! We thought he would be a draft bust-nice work on showing us up Ryan. You and your team are rollin’ and could win the South. We are taking the Falcons and giving the points.

Oakland at Miami (-10.5)- Teams are 0-12 when they travel West to East this season and the Raiders are freakin terrible and run by a Vampire.

Al Davis is a Vampire!

Al Davis is a Vampire!

The Fins play really well at home and look nothing like the ‘07 team. The Raiders are just a mess. We are taking the Fins and giving the points.

Arizona at Seattle (+3): This is our upset special of the week. The Cards are TERRIBLE on the road. They get their asses handed to them everytime they leave lovely Zona. Playing in Seattle is tough. The Cards will have nothing for the ‘Hawks this week. FACTS: ‘Hawks are 3-0 ATS in their last 3 games against the Cards at home. We are taking the ‘Hawks and the points.

Flash Picks

Eagles at Bungles (+9.5): The Bungles just have nothing to offer. The Eagles are desperate for a win to keep any kind of pace in their division. We don’t like the points, but the Eagles should be fine. FACTS: Eagles are 0-7 ATS in their last 7 against the Bungles (I’m going against the numbers). Take the Eagles and give the points.

Baltimore at NY Giants (-7): The Gints are clearly the best team in football right now. The Ravens, although surprising people with how well they have rallied around Flacco, are just not there yet. Going on the road into the Meadowlands is just too much to ask of them to keep this game close. The Ravens will not be able to keep pace with the Gints. I’m taking the Gints and giving the points.

Dallas at Washington (+1): I’m road-tripping for this game so I can see the downfall of the Cowboys firsthand. They are terrible and having Romo back means nothing-they were terrible before he was injured. The Boys are 3-6 ATS on the season and the Skins always have their number. It is a joke that the Skins are getting points in this one. I like the Skins to win and cover!

Runny Picks

Texans @ Colts (-8): The Colts are off an impressive win in Pittsburgh last week. One thing is for sure-they know how to rally. That could be the turning point of their season. However, I like this game more for who is not playing for the Texans-Schaub. Sage cannot do it on the road. FACTS: The Colts are 3-1 ATS in their last 4 at home against the Texans. I’m taking the Colts and give the points.

Bears @ Packers (-3.5): Bitter rivalry game and I love it!! The Bears go into another week not sure if Grossman will still be their QB. I don’t think it will matter. The Bears D is good enough to keep this game close, and the Packers D is not very good. Even if Grossman gets the nod, the Bears can keep this game within a field goal. I’m taking the Bears and the points.

Saints @ Chiefs (+5.5): The Saints have a terrible D. The Chiefs are playing better, but just not winning. They had a chance last weke to beat the Chargers at home. If they can keep it close against the Chargers D, they can do the same against the Saints. I love the points. Take them and the Chiefs.

2008 Week 10 Free NFL Winning Picks: We stink, just bet the opposite!

We had another bad weekend last week, going 0-3 on Sunday. Our records are as follows and see if you can figure out what sticks out:

RPJ Betting $yndicate is 14-13 on the season (winning record)

Flash Flash for the Cash is 7-3 on the season (we challenge you to find another NFL picker that is picking at a 70% clip this year. The Herd brags that he is 70% in NCAA, well I am 70% in NFL so suck on that.)

Runny Pelvis the Fat is 14-20-1 on the season

Were you able to figure out that game? I bet you were. Runny is taking it in the can right now and he is fired up and pissed off. I have known this man for many years and this is the worst streak of his career. I know he will rebound and will not finish with a record this bad. On to some positive things; if you have not used our matchups tool yet you are seriously missing out. Click on this link to solve all of your gambling needs. We are going to walk you through this so you can see all of the great date that is available to you on our website.

RPJ $yndicate Picks (14-13 on the season)

Seattle at Miami (-8.5) - We bet we could have set up a prop bet for $1 million by saying that in Week 10, the Miami Dolphins will be a 8.5 point favorite over the Seattle Seahawks. Holy cow the NFL is a crazy betting world. Now here is what we were talking about with our matchups page. Click on this matchups link. Now click on the words NFL written in red near the top of the page. Now click matchups in red. Now click Seattle/Dolphins matchup tab. That right there is awesome information. you get a smart chart, recent ATS numbers, betting trends, injury reports, head to head reports, last 5 game stats, the weather. If that information is not going to help you then we can not help you. Bodog hooked us up with some awesome data. We think the Dolphins are legit and we have taken the Bill Parcells medicine. We are going to go a step further and recommend taking the Bodog prop bet on the Dolphins to win the AFC East. You can get 4/1 on your money right now. Chad Pennington is playing better than Brett Favre, The Bills are a mirage and the Pats are not legit without Brady. Look for the Dolphins to sneak up to the top of the standings in no time. Enough on that sidebar. Now to the Seahawks. 8.5 points is a lot of points but as we said, we have totally bought the Dolphins Kool Aid. Check out the ATS numbers:

Seattle

Miami

Now you throw in the fact the West Coast teams that travel East and play at 1PM in the afternoon lose more than 70% of the time and you combine that with the fact the Seattle is 0-4 against the Fins in their last 4 and you know where we are going with this. We have more too, the Dolphins defense has forced 12 turnovers in the last 3 games and has stepped it up. They held the Broncos in check and we just saw what the Broncs did to the Browns. Get on the Dolphins bandwagon now. We are. We are taking the Dolphins to win and cover!

Carolina (-9.5) at Oakland - I have been waiting a long time to post this picture but for all of you True Blood fans out there, Al Davis is a Vampire!

Stay away. Al will kill you

Stay away. Al will kill you but he most certainly will kill the Raiders!

Do we even need to go into detail here. Flash tried to get Runny on the anti-Raiders bandwagon last week versus the Falcons but his mancrush on Jamarcus Russell and Run DMC stood in the way. Flash is a Raiders fan and knows his team better than anybody. Raiders bad Carolina good. Enough said. Raiders once again proved they are the worst team in football last week and Carolina is no easy game. They have not received a lot of attention but the Panthers have the second best record in the NFC, right behind the G-Men. The Raiders have the worst offense in the NFL and this game will be ugly. If you want the ATS numbers look them up on Bodog but this game will be over and covered in the first half. Carolina wins and covers!

We do not get it. Audrina's tits just keep growing!

We do not get it. Audrina's tits just keep growing!

Baltimore (-1) at Houston - This is an other crazy team. How in the hell are the Ravens doing so well with Joe Flacco. The Ravens are 5-3 and have won three in a row by a combined margin of 93-50. Matt Schaub is out for this game and Sage Rosenfels is well Sage Rosenfels and Mr. Sage will not fare well versus the Ravens nasty D. The Ravens are 4th in passing defense and second in scoring defense. Check out the ATS numbers:

Ravens

Texans

Just like we encouraged you to do with the Dolphins, you need to get on the Ravens bandwagon. They are 6-2 against the spread and the Texans are banged up and injured. We are taking the Ravens to win and cover!

Runny Pelvis Picks (14-20-1 on the season) - Short and sweet again. Sorry folks but I am out in the Midwest at an unnamed NBA venue doing some research.

Jacksonville at Detroit (+6.5) - Just call it a hunch. Both teams are bad but I am all over the Lions in this one. This is one of those freaky Vegas lines. 75% of the money is going on the Jags and the line has not moved even a half point off of 6.5 points. Vegas Knows. I am taking the Lions to cover!

St. Louis at New York Jets (-9) - Rams are playing better football and the Jets are always a mystery. I think they will have a bit of a look ahead syndrome going because they play at New England on Thursday. I like the fact that the Rams are 4-0 in their last four meetings with the Jets. I am taking the Rams to cover!
