FREE NBA PICKS FOR DECEMBER 16, 2009

Greetings folks. We are loving this NBA season and we are coming at you with new angles with which you can make some scratch. Between early NFL action this week, the NCAA Bowl Season and NBA every night, we’ve been crunching numbers like mad!!! For the NBA, our overall season ATS record stands at 93-80-4. Of that, we are 3-1 ATS in our locks. If you’ve followed our site, you know that typically we have stayed away from giving “locks.” This is because we are confident with every game we pick/make public. Simply put, if it doesn’t pass our tests, we don’t pick it. That said, through our numbers crunching, we’ve noticed things that seem to come true even more than our typical picks. These are our “locks,” but note that they don’t pop-up too much so there may be nights where none exist. Tonight, we have two!!!!! Here is what we like:

LOCKS OF THE NIGHT

Lakers @ Bucks +5.5: The Lakers are the lock. Press this like crazy. Take the Lakers and give the points.

Wizards @ Kings -3: The Wizards are the lock. Go crazy. Take the Wizards and the points.

PICKS

Cavs @ 76ers +6: Take the Cavs and give the points.

Raptors @ Magic -11: Take the Magic and give the points.

Bobcats @ Pacers -3.5: Take the Bobcats and the points.

Grizzlies @ Hawks -9.5: Take the Grizzlies and the points.

Jazz @ Nets +8.5: Take the Nets and the points.

Mavs @ Thunder +2.5: Take the Thunder and the points.

Pistons @ Hornets -4.5: Take the Hornets and give the points.

Clippers @ T’Wolves -1.5: Take the Clippers and the points.

Rockets @ Nuggets -8.5: Take the Nuggets and give the points.

Spurs @ Warriors +5.5: Take the Warriors and the points.

There you go-12 winners for tonight!!!!

Good luck,

FREE NBA PICKS FOR NOVEMBER 25, 2009!!!

Greetings folks! 3-2-1 last night brings our season ATS record to 54-45-2. Again, we know this is not up to our standards, but with another winning night, we are moving in the right direction. There are a ton of games tonight, so we know we have a ton of opportunities for more winners. We are busy and we love it!! Check out our NCAA football and NFL posts for tomorrow’s and Friday’s games, too. We are working plays all weekend long!!! Sit back, eat some turkey and take our picks all the way to the bank!! We are looking to help you make some extra scratch for Black Friday shopping deals!! That said, here is the first step:

Oh yeah…forgot about Lil Kobe and Lil Lebron:

Lil Kobe & Lil Lebron Are Back For More Winners!!!!

Lil Kobe & Lil Lebron Are Back For More Winners!!!!

Clippers @ Pacers -5.5: The Pacers looked pretty darn bad last night in Toronto and are in the midst of a bad slump. They look to avoid their 5th straight SU loss and ATS loss. The bad thing is that in their losses, they have been pretty much blown out each time. Only in one of the 4 losses (against the Knicks) have they even kept it close. They are a team that looks very confused right now, and they are getting a Clippersteam that is rested and will probably have their young gun, Eric Gordon, back from injury. Even without Gordon, we like the Clippersto cover. We think the Pacers will win the game to end their losing streak, however, we think this is too many points to give. Take the Clippers and the points.

Holy Sh*t!!! We Picked The Clippers to Cover!!!!

Holy Sh*t!!! We Picked The Clippers to Cover!!!!

Raptors @ Bobcats -3: The Raptors have been terrible on the road this year and cannot stop anyone anywhere. They are off giving the Pacers a beatdown last night at home. They are terrible as Dogs this year (0-5 ATS in their last 5 games as Dogs), but we think they finally breakout of the Dog cover slump. Take the Raptors and the points.

No Early Christmas For You, Stephen Jackson!!!!

No Early Christmas For You, Stephen Jackson!!!!

76ers @ Celtics -13: The Celtics have been terrible as of late. This team is WAAAY better than this and they know it. After nearly losing to the Knicks last time out, the Celtics need to get back on track. They are rested and at home tonight against a 76ers team that is struggling, too.  The 76ers lost a tough one last night in Washington and they may be without Elton Brand tonight. That is bad news for them. We think the Celtics finally right the ship tonight. We don;t care that the road team in this one is 18-8-1 ATS in their last 27 meetings. Take the Celtics and give the points.

Heat @ Magic -9.5: The Heat have been absolutely terrible in their recent games, losing 4 of their last 6 SU and 6 straight ATS. They get no relief tonight against a Magic team that is playing well as of late. The Magic are rested and do everything better than the Heat except field goal %. This is an easy cover. Take the Magic and give the points.

Ridiculous!! Dwight Howard Looks Like He Is Playing on Stilts!! Good Luck, Miami!!!

Ridiculous!! Dwight Howard Looks Like He Is Playing on Stilts!! Good Luck, Miami!!!

Bucks @ Hornets -2.5: The Bucks finally have Michael Redd back, but they are still without Andrew Bogut. The Hornets are still without Chris Paul. However, the Hornets have covered their last 4. We don’t think they make it a 5th. The Bucks are better defensively and on the glass. They have Redd back. The Hornets will have no answer for him. Take the Bucks and the points.

This Is What The Bucks Think Of Your Chances Tonight, New Orleans!!!!

Cavs @ Pistons +6: The Cavs have not been a good team ATS, but neither have the Pistons. The Pistons will be without Prince and Hamilton (again). They will not have enough fire power to keep up with a rested Cavs team. We love this line. Take the Cavs and give the points.

Nuggets @ T’Wolves +8.5: This line seems a little like a trap because it is so low. The T’Wolves have not won since beating the Nets weeks ago. The Nuggets are one of the best teams in the league. On paper this seems like the line should be double digits. It may be a trap, so beware, but our analysis says ride the Nuggets all day. So, that is what we are doing. Take the Nuggets and give the points.

Dat's Wus Up Minnesota!! You ARe Messin' Wit the Nuggets!!

Dats Wus Up, Minnesota!! Be Carful Of Who You Are Messin' Wit!!

Mavericks @ Rockets -4: We hate the Mavs and love the Rockets. However, the Mavs own this match-up as of late. They also have more healthy weapons. Dirk is clutch. We love the points. Take the Mavs and the points.

Warriors @ Spurs -13.5: The Warriors are one of the hottest teams ATS right now, covering in 6 straight and 7 of their last 8. Unreal. They beat the Mavs outright last night with 6 freakin’ players!! Tonight they get another tough opponent in the Spurs, who are rested and ready. We love the attitude the Warriors have adopted since the injury bug hit. They have circled the wagons and look to pound everyone they play. However, tonight will be too much. The Spurs play well together and know how to win at home. They cover. Take the Spurs and give the points.

Grizzlies @ Suns -10.5: The Grizzlies are a terrible road team, but they are building confidence each night out. They are young and can really get after it. The Suns are off a lopsided win at the hands of the Pistons. We like the Grizzlies in this one because we think they match-up well against the Suns, and because they are playing solid D as of late. Take the Grizzlies and the points.

Nets @ Trailblazers -13: Nets are pathetic. Just terrible. They were crushed last night. They will get crushed again tonight. Take the Blazers and give the points.

Knicks @ Kings -4: The Knicks showed some poise last night making it a 10 point game against the Lakers. However, we think that was more of the Lakers just wanting to get out of dodge. The Knicks held their own against the Celtics last week, too. However, we think they happened to catch the Celtics in a slump. They are not a good team. We love the Kings tonight. Tyreke Evans should be back. Take the Kings and give the points.

As always, good luck with your picks.

FREE NBA PICKS FOR NOVEMBER 23, 2009

Greetings folks. Our season ATS record stands at 48-42-1.  Despite our winning record, we feel terrible. Not as bad as these guys…

Is That The Little Person's Kobe & Lebron?!?!?!

Is That The Little Person Kobe & Lebron?!?!?!

…but still pretty bad. Not a bad record, but not even close to the vicinity we are aiming for (65%). We are in a slump, but we know what we are capable of and will keep applying our system. That said, this is what we recommend for tonight:

Kings @ Grizzlies -5.5:If this game was in Arco, our analysis would be different. We love the direction both teams are heading and this should be an exciting game. The Kings have been in some very tough defeats as of late, losing by two to the Mavs last Friday and by seven to the Rockets on Saturday night. They should be rested, but Tyreke Evans is doubtful. Without Evans, the Kings are a completely different team. They need him to produce and they need his energy with Kevin Martin out of the line-up for the foreseeable future. We like the Grizzlies in this game because they are at home and they have a ton of young talent that can score and run the court all game long. And, as well as the Kings have played, they have been terrible on the road. Take the Grizzlies and give the points.

Grizzlies Haters Beware!!!! They Aren't That Bad!!!

Grizzlies Haters Beware!!!! They Aren't That Bad!!!!

Bucks @ Spurs -9: Our pick for this game is based as much on what the Spurs don’t do as what the Bucks do. The Bucks have been surprising this season-they are winning without their two best players. The Spurs have been banged up too, but they seem to be lacking desire to play. They are not playing good D and seem to set out to do the bare minimum required to win a game. Granted, winning is the goal and if you get wins winning ugly, then so be it. However, they have not been a good cover team at all this. The Bucks have been. We like them here. Michael Redd is probable and with him in the line-up, they are even better. We don’t think the Bucks will win, but we love the points. Take the Bucks and the points.
Yeap. That Guy Got It Right.

Yeap. That Guy Got It Right.

Bulls @ Trailblazers -8.5: The Bulls are still on the long and winding road known as their annual circus road trip. These games get tougher and tougher, and now they are forced to deal with the young guns of the Trailblazers. The Trailblazers are just too long and athletic in the front court for the Bulls who are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 road games. Take the Trailblazers and give the points
T’Wolves @ Clippers -7:The T’Wolves have not covered in their last 8 games! How crazy is that?!?! Nothing like a date with the Clippers to get you on the right track. Despite the T’Wolves being so bad, they are still better than the Clippers at the line, on the glass and off the bench. This is too many points for the Clippers. Take the T’Wolves and the points.
As always, good luck with your picks.

FREE NBA PICKS FOR NOVEMBER 20, 2009

Greetings folks! We hope to build some momentum off our 2-1 night last night. Typically on nights with only 3 games, we expect to be 3-0. However, we’ll take the wins as we can. As it stands, our season record ATS is 45-35-1. Due to some time constraints, we are leaving out a lot of the detail we typically provide. Know that everything below fits our models and is what we personally are backing. That said, here is what we are rollin’ with:

Cavs @ Pacers +4: Take the Cavs and give the points-LeBron will play and be fine.

Grizzlies @ 76ers -5: Take the Grizzlies and the points.

Heat @ Raptors -3: Take the Heat and the points.

Rockets @ Hawks -7: Take the Hawks and give the points.

Magic @ Celtics -6: Take the Celtics and give the points.

Wizards @ Thunder -4: Take the Wizards and the points.

Kings @ Mavericks -11: Take the Kings and the points.

Bobcats @ Bucks -4: Take the Bobcats and the points.

Trailblazers @ Warriors: +8: Take the Blazers and give the points.

Nuggets @ Clippers +9: Take the Nuggets and give the points.

Sorry for the brief post. As always, good luck with your picks.

NBA PICKS FOR NOVEMBER 18, 2009

Greetings folks. We had a terrible night last night with a 3-5 record. It is our first losing night in over a week. We have had a good run as of late, but we know another 3-5 night can happen at any point and we need to stay focused. The 3-5 night brings our season ATS record to 37-28-1. That is not even close to where we need to be (our goal is 65%). So, back to work….here is what we like tonight:

Cavs @ Wizards +5: The Cavs are just not covering and they are pretty banged up. Shaq is out again and there is a good chance no Anderson Varejao tonight. Even without them in the line-up, they are a good team, but this will be a tough road game. Washington has played the Cavs well in recent years and the Dog is 7-1 ATS in their last 8 meetings. This game will come down to Agent 0 and whether he has learned to follow his instincts like he did in the past. He has been a tentative player and if the Wizards are to keep this game close, they need to Agent 0 that drives to the basket and plays instinctively. We think he will do it tonight. Plus, the Wizards may be getting Antawn Jamison back tonight for the 1st time during the regular season. Take the Wizards and the points.

Agent 0 Sees A Win In His Future Tonight and So Do We!!!!!

Agent 0 Sees A Win In His Future Tonight and So Do We!!!!!

Bobcats @ 76ers -4: The Sixers have been extremely inconsistent. They don’t play D andtheir front court has no clue how to rebound. In our opinion, Elton Brand has been a bust, and at best, was the wrong guy to fit in with their style of play. The Bobcats are fresh off a close loss to the Magic. Stephen Jackson looked solid in his debut. Hopefully for the Bobcats, he will be a positive force on and off the court this year. Larry Brown does have some experience successfully managing problem child players. This will be a tough game for them because the Sixers are rested and waiting for them. However, the Sixers will be without Marreese Speights tonight. Speights has arguably been their spark on offense this year. We’ll see how the Sixers respond. We think Jackson will have a solid game and keep it within 4. Take the Bobcats and the points.

Trust Us, If This Guy Comes Down Your Chimney This Christmas, Call The Cops Immediately!!!!! All We Want For Christmas Are Some Covers!!!!

Trust Us, If This Guy Comes Down Your Chimney This Christmas, Call The Cops Immediately!!!!! All We Want For Christmas Are Some Covers!!!!

Thunder @ Magic -12.5: Just when the Magic seem to get all of the pieces of their puzzle together on the court at once, they lose a major piece. Jameer Nelson is out for the next 4-6 weeks with a bum knee. This is a HUGE blow for the Magic, who struggled at times in their win Monday night against the Bobcats. However, Jason Williams will get the starting nod tonight in Nelson’s absence. He is certainly not the player he once was, but he is not terrible. We think he will surprise teams with his ball handling ability. The Thunder are legit and are off a HUGE win last night against the Heat. However, this Magic team is much, much better than the Heat team they faced last night. The Magic are rested, too. The game will come down to the front courts of each team. The Thunder, surprisingly, rebound much better than the Magic do. They also play better D. They also gave the Magic their worse loss of the season earlier in Oklahoma City. The Magic will be out for revenge and should be focused for tonight’s game. The Thunder have not lost by double digits all year and the Magic, with the exception of one game against the winless Nets, have not covered double digit spreads. We think the Thunder will have the energy needed to keep it within 12.5. Take the Thunder and the points.

We Are Here To Claim The Reward....We Found His Jump Shot. It Will Be In Orlando Tonight.

We Are Here To Claim The Reward....We Found His Jumpshot. It Will Be In Orlando Tonight.

Knicks @ Pacers -6.5:Man, the Knicks are so sad. The are to the NBA what the New York Mets are to baseball-overrated by the market they are in and very, very disappointing. The Knicks are winless on the road this year and probably will not get their first win on the road tonight. This Pacers team is good and really gets after the ball on both sides of the court. Danny Granger has to be an early MVP candidate and Roy Hibbert has been ridiculous in the middle. The Knicks will have no response for either. The Pacers are HOT (5 straight wins and covers) while the Knicks are not (6 straight losses and not covering in 5 of those 6 losses). The line is low because the Pacers played last night and the Knicks are rested. We don’t care. Take the Pacers and give the points.

That Is All We Have To Say About That...

That Is All We Have To Say About That...

Heat @ Hawks -7.5: The Heat looked terrible last night against the Thunder. They could not handle the size and energy the Thunder brought to the table. Things look bad for them tonight because that is exactly what the Hawks will bring at home. This team is young, athletic and fast. Each game they player better and better together. They will be a force in the regular and post seasons this year. The Heat are good, too, but they won’t have enough in the tank tonight. Look for another low scoring Heat performance. We love this line. The Hawks have covered every time they were the favorite this year. Take the Hawks and give the points.

Warriors @ Celtics -16.5: The walking wounded Warriors limp into Beantown to face a rested Celtics team. The Celtics have struggled as of late and look to avoid a 3rd straight loss. They will. We think they cover, too. Despite the spread being high, we think the Celtics are exactly what the Warriors don’t want to see right now: a rested, veteran team that is deep and plays well together. We think the game will be somewhat close until the 4th. The Celtics win big. Take the Celtics and give the points

Hate to Be Spoilers, But The Celtics Win Big Tonight.

Hate to Be Spoilers, But The Celtics Win Big Tonight.

Rockets @ T’Wolves +5.5: The Rockets are off a big home loss to the Suns last night. The T’Wolves are off losses to pretty much everyone. They may get Al Jefferson back tonight, but even if they do, it won’t matter. Even a sluggish, tired Rockets team will cover this spread. The T’Wolves just have no answer for anyone right now. Trevor Ariza is opening eyes with his new role as a starter. He should have a solid night again. Take the Rockets and give the points.

Nets @ Bucks -10: The Nets have yet to win this season and are a dismal 4-7 ATS. The Bucks have been been outstanding this year and are tied for 2nd in the Central. With the exception of the Warriors, the Nets may have the most injured team in the league. It will not help them on back-to-back nights against a hot, relentless Bucks team at home. The Bucks will have just too much depth. Take the Bucks and give the points.

Clippers @ Grizzlies -5: The Grizzlies look to build on their win and avenge an earlier season loss against the Clippers tonight. We don’t think it will happen. Although we love OJ Mayo and Rudy Gay, we think the Clippers have a better roster. Plus they play much better D. We don’t think thegame last night will have too much of an effect on the Clippers tonight. The Grizzlies may win, but it will be close. Take the Clippers and the points.

Raptors @ Jazz -7.5: Deron Williams is back for the Jazz. That is HUGE for them. This has been along road trip for the Raptors who were crushed last night by the Nuggets. A rested Carlos Boozer should have enough to keep Bosh in check. The Jazz should win big. Take the Jazz and give the points.

Spurs @ Mavericks -2: The Spurs finally have their bug guns healthy, but even without them, they beat the Mavericks outright earlier in the month by 9. The Spurs are just a better team and the Mavericks are soft. Not much analysis for us on this one. The Spurs are winless on the road. They will right their ship tonight. They will win outright. We love the points. Take the Spurs and the points.

Could Be The Worse Photo in Sports History...No Wonder Steve Nash Left Dallas.

Could Be The Worse Photo in Sports History...No Wonder Steve Nash Left Dallas.

Pistons @ Blazers -10.5: This is one of our favorite games of the night. The Pistons are fresh off a beatdown at the hands of the Lakers last night. They are understaffed without Prince andHamilton. Travelling to Portland for a game in consecutive nights to face a rested Trailbalzerssquad is not what the doctor ordered. Portland is just much, much better in every phase of the game right now. Until the Pistons get Prince and Hamilton, they have only two legit scoring threats. One of those threats, Ben Gordon, plays crazy at times. Andre Miller will eat him alive. This game will not be close. Take the Blazers and give the points.

As always, good luck with your picks.

NBA PICKS FOR NOVEMBER 17, 2009

Greetings folks. 2-1 last night brings our season ATS record to 34-23-1. Not great, but we are inching closer and closer to our standards. There are a ton of games tonight which equals a ton of more opportunities for us to make you scratch!! Here is what we like tonight:

Warriors @ Cavs -14.5: This is a huge amount of points to give, especially for a Cavs team that is not blowing out teams like it did last year. However, this Warriors team is starting from scratch. They may only have 7 available players tonight as Stephen Jackson (traded-thankfully for Warriors fans), Raja Bell (wrist), Andris Biedrins (abs), Brandan Wright (Shoulder) and Kelenna Azubuike (knee) are out and CJ Watson (Swine Flu) and Vladimir Radmanovic are doubtful for tonight. Ridding themselves of Stephen jackson is a great move to build this franchise in the right direction, however, they will have too little for a rested Cavs team. We regret the points, but the Cavs should cover. Take the Cavs and give the points.

Jack prison stripes

At Least The Warriors Fans Won't Have to Deal With This Anymore

Pacers @ Nets +4.5: The Nets can’t buy a win. They are the only winless team in the league. They are crushed win injuries and they are playing a Pacers team that has really turned their season around. Also, nearly all ATS numbers say take the Pacers. Then why are we even going into this game in any sort of analytical way??? Because we are taking the Nets!!! That is what our analysis says and we are sticking to it. Take the Nets and the points.

We Love Ya Hovi, But They Won't Suck Tonight!!!

Thunder @ Heat -6.5: The Thunder have to be the surprise team of this early season. They are playing tough and even when they lose, they show you that they are on the right track. They get a tough test in Miami tonight against a Heat team that has not ventured too far from South Beach this season. The Heat have been good, but they struggled defensively their past two times out. However, the Heat will be rested and should get O’Neal and Chalmers back tonight. We think this will be a fun game to watch, but the Heat will muscle out the cover in the end. Ignore the fact that the road team is 8-0 ATS in the last head-to-head meetings. Take the Heat and give the points.

Now That the Grandparents Are In Bed, The Kids Can Play!!!!

Clippers @ Hornets -2.5: The Hornets will be without CP3 for quite a while and they are in a huge donwspin. They fired their coach and pissed off their best player in pretty much one night. Tonight they get a Clipp team that they have dominated in recent years (11-1 ATS in their last 12 meetings). However, this is not the typical Clippers and this is certainly not the same Hornets team that has covered in most of those games. Losing CP3 is HUGE. It means that Baron Davis is not as old as he really is which will allow him more freedom on both sides of the ball. We love the Clippers here. Take the Clippers and the points.

If It Worked For Arod and The Yankees, It Can Work For the Clippers, Too!!!!

Suns @ Rockets -3: We love the Suns in this one. They hit a little of a lull the past two games, but they should bounce back tonight. We don’t buy into the Rockets. We think it is a lot of smoke and mirrors. We think the Suns win this game outright. Take the Suns and the points.

Raptors @ Nuggets -8: The Raptors have been decent this year and have two of the best big men in the league. However, this Nuggets team is nasty and the Raptors have not had much luck in the Mile High city. We love the Nuggets here. They will be rested and this is a long road trip for the Raptors. Plus, they are Canadian and they won’t know what hit them-haha!. Take the Nuggets and give the points.

43e8o4xko6js4.jpg westside hand sign image by smokey__01

Just Remember Who You Are Dealin' Wit Toronto!!!!!

Bulls @ Kings +3: This is the start of the yearly “Circus Road Trip” for the Bulls as they begin their daunting travels due to the circus coming to Chicago. This is a tough first stop on the journey for them as they play a Kings team that is lovin’ the home life. Arco Arena is a tough place to play, and the Bulls have not had much luck their in recent history (2-6 ATS in their last 8 against the Kings).  We are taking the Kings. Love the points. Take the Kings and the points.

Not Luol's House Tonight!! The Kings Will Reign!!!

Pistons @ Lakers -9.5: The Lakers look to avoid their 3rd straight loss and are coming off two of their worse games in years. They have been terrible ATS this year (3-7) and Kobe is nursing a groin sprain. However, the Pistons may be without Rodney Stuckey, which is a waaaayy bigger concern. Pistons own this match-up ATS (12-5-1 ATS in the last 18 meetings). However, we think the Lakers right the ship tonight. Take the Lakers and give the points.

As always, good luck with your picks.

NBA PICKS: SEASON KICK-OFF

Greetings folks!!!! Another glorious NBA season is upon us and we couldn’t be happier!!!!! This is such a great time of year. World Series. NCAA Football is in full swing. So is the NFL. Hockey is rocking. Such a great time to be a sports fan.

If you followed us the past couple of years, you know we are NBA nuts and that we love to pick games. This is our 3rd season picking NBA games. Last year we started well and ended in a slump. In our first ear we did pretty well. Our system for the NBA is a little different than the systems we use for NCAA Football and the NFL. Since there are so many more games to track, we try to find a balancing system that combines our math analytics with trends that we see develop. We don’t know how it will work this year, but as always, our money is where our mouth is-whatever we post is what we have a vested interest in. So, if you ride with us, we will be there for the good and bad. That said, here is what we like on Day 1:

Celtics @ Cavs -4: The Cavs open the season with a HUGE difference in the middle. In every sense of th word, Shaq is a much bigger presence in the middle than anyone the Cavs have had since Rick Smits. We have no tangible evidence to determine the effect Shaq will have on this team. However, the Cavs still have #23 and he is better than anyone in the league. We are banking the Cavs have enough to cover tonight. The energy will be high and the Cavs will be looking to make a statement. Plus, father time has had one more year to wear on the aging Celtics. Take the Cavs and give the points.

Wizards @ Mavs -8:The Wizards could be the most improved team without adding any players. For the first time in two seasons, they have a healthy Agent 0. That is huge for this team because if he is on, this tea is much, much better. However, they will be without Antwan Jamison who discloated his shoulder in an exhibition game. No doubt the Wiz will be better, but the Mavericks are just too deep. Besides retaining their core, they added great depth with Drew Gooden, Shawn Marion and Tim Thomas. Each of those players, arguably, could be starters right now on the Wizards. We don’t think this game will be close. Take the Mavs and give the points.

Rockets @ Trailblazers -8.5: Probably the easiest game of the night for us-the Rockets have no Tao and no T-Mac. The Blazers are young, athletic, fact and at home. Oden may get the start at center (finally). We love the Blazers. Take the Blazers and give the points.

Clippers @ Lakers -11: Talk about an off-season for the world champs!!! The addition of Artest makes this an extremely mean front court. They were one of the best in the NBA without him, now they are just lethal. They own the Clippers and want nothing more to unveil their latest championship banner at home against their in-town “rivals.” We think this game will be out of reach very quickly. The Clippers are young and athletic, but they cannot hang with the champs. At least not yet anyway. Baron Davis cannot beat Kobe, Bynum, Gasol and Artest on his own.  Take the Lakers and give the points.

As always, good luck with your picks.

Free Winning NBA Picks: 4/1/09

Greetings folks. Sorry for the no-show yesterday. There were a ton of games to play with, but we had some personal issues to take care of. Through our last published picks (3/30/09), our record is 21-27-1 overall and 5-5-1 in Game 1’s. Wish we could say that is an April’s Fools joke, but it is what it is. We give full disclosure and we will take it on the chin. We know our system works. We just need to work through the funk. No better time like the present. Here is what we like tonight:

Game 1: Lakers -6.5 vs. Bucks. The Lakers looked terrible last night and face a pretty daunting road trip for their back-to-back game. However, this is the Lakers and they are playing the Bucks. They will cover. Plus, they crush our system match-up and win our two special keys. We got love for the West Coast!!!!!

Game 2: Magic -9.5 vs. Raptors. The key to this pick is home court. We love the Magic at home. We love how manchild Dwight Howard is absolutely schoolin’ suckahs right now. We love the backcourt play, too. The Raptors are coming in for a back-to-back game. The Magic dominate our system match-up and win our two keys. Ka-CHING!!!!! Give the points.

Game 3: Pistons +1 vs. Nets. Pay attention to the line you get. We are getting this as the Pistons as the Dog, but we’ve heard it is the exact opposite. Hopefully you are getting what we did, but +1 is where we got the line. We love this game and think the Pistons win outright. The Nets can certainly score, but the Pistons are getting healthy. Plus, they win our match-up. We are taking them and the points.

Game 4: Warriors -8.5 vs. Kings. We actually don’t like making this pick, but we are sticking to our system. Our system says Warriors (the Warriors win our system match-up and our two keys), but our gut says stay away. Our system wins, so we are riding the Warriors and giving the points.

Game 5: Hornets -3.5 vs. Clippers. Man, when will the Clipp be good?!?!?!?! Not tonight. The Hornets will stomp them. They sweep our system and our two keys. Give the points.

Game 6: Rockets +1.5 vs. Suns. We think it is telling that this line is this close. The Rockets play nasty D and they need this win. The Suns may need it more, but they cannot match the Rockets’ intensity. The Rockets our Dogs, but win our match-up. We love that combo. Even on the road. Take the points.

As always, good luck.

2008 NBA: Day 12 PICKS!!!!!

Terrible 0-2 night last night brought our season record ATS to 16-16. We like quite a few games tonight. First things first….chick pick:

Candice Michelle

Now the picks:

Hornets @ Bobcats (+7.5):It is a homecoming for NC native CP3. Maybe a little for the Hornets, too. The Bobcats nearly won one last time out, but they played poor defense down the stretch and and coughed up the rock too many times. On the season, they are 5th worse in the league on D. That is bad news for them tonight. The Hornets roll. Take the Hornets and give the points.

Suns @ Bulls (+4.5): Suns are rollin’. Ride them while they are healthy and while those old legs still have some juice. The Bulls have no one inside to answer for Amare and Shaq. Take the Suns and give the points.

Pacers @ Cavs (-8.5): The Pacers are not good on D, and Lebron has finally found his scoring legs. However, this is too many points. The Pacers can hold on in this one enough to keep it close. Take the Pacers and the points.

Pistons @ Nets (+7.5): AI is set to make is long awaited debut tonight in NJ. The Pistons haven’t needed him nor Billups. They are playing really well right now. There should be some stumble as they get adjusted to their new teammate, but AI knows how to score. They will press the action a lot in this game. The Nets will not be able to keep up. Take the Pistons to win and cover.

Thunder @ Jazz (-11): This is a ton of points to give, but the Thunder are dead last in the league in scoring. They are just not that good. This is a tough road game. The Jazz roll. Take the Jazz and give the points.

Bucks @ Celtics (-13.5):Despite having an injured Michael Redd, the Bucks are playing really well. Richard Jefferson has stepped up his game and is showing why the Bucks landed him in the offseason. The Celtics have been deadly at home, but can get off to slow starts. They almost lost to the terrible Thunder, and won only because the Thunder killed themselves. The Bucks will not make those mistakes. Take the Bucks and the points.

There you go. Good luck with your picks.

2008 NBA: Day 9 PICKS-RUNNIN’ for 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gemma Atkinson

Gemma Atkinson is Our Reward for Starting the Week 6-0!!!!!!!

Greeting folks! Another solid 3-0 night last night has our season record at 15-11 ATS. Not great, but we love any week where we start 6-0! Flash did some crazy parlays from Degenerate Tuesday and is taking Mrs. Flash to Red Lobster. We’ve been hard at work getting things together to spit some more game at you for tonight. We like 4 games tonight and we are runnin’ for a 10-0 start for the week!!Can we do it? Of course we can!!!! We’ve done it before. Here is what we like:

Piston @ Raptors (-4): The Billups trade will have immediate, negative effects on this team. AI is a great scorer, but these Piston teams (that have won) in recent years prided themselves on playing solid D. AI was a D machine in Philly, but he never focused on it in Denver. Tonight is his debut, and we think he will need some time to adjust. The team will certainly need some time to adjust to him, too. Also, losing McDyess creates problems in their front court. The lack of depth will be a huge problem facing Chris Bosh. He is young and can work the glass all night. We love the Raptors at home. Take the Raptors and give the points.

Suns @ Pacers (+3.5): The Suns destroyed the Nets last night. Generally, with older teams, we don’t like taking them in back-to-back road games in back-to-back nights. However, the Suns are hot, and despite the Pacers impressive win against the Celtics last week, we don’t think they are for real. Their win against the champs was a fluke. The Suns will pile it on and we love them early in the season. Shaq is healthy and is playing well up front. Take the Suns and give the points.

Sixers @ Heat (+3): Our second road favorite we like. The Sixers are legit and are cleaning glass better than any team in the league right now. The Heat have no rebounding presence. They will pay for that tonight. Sixers will roll in this one. Won’t be close. Take the Sixers and give the points.

Nuggets @ Warriors (UNDER 206.5): Vegas sets the OVER/UNDER for Nuggets game very, very high. The reason: they play no defense whatsoever. Although they are still not playing D this year, they have lost some of their scoring firepower they had last year. Losing AI and Camby are HUGE losses for any team. Their points per game average will go down. However, with the addition of Billups, they get a legit back-court defender. He is not what he once was, but he is still decent. His addition coupled with the AI loss will make this game low scoring. Don’t forget, the Warriors are without last year’s scoring power Baron Davis. We think this OVER/UNDER line is way too high. Take advantage. We are taking the UNDER 206.5.

As always, good luck. Here’s to 10-0!!!!!!!!!!
