2008 Week 11 Free NFL Winning Picks: Sunday Funday!
We lost the Pats/Jets game on Thursday and we sit at 16-15 on the season. Flash Flash is 7-3 and Runny is 14-22-1. We have a bunch of picks for you this week and sticking with our NCAA theme we are coming at you with straight picks and hot chicks.
RPJ $ndicate Picks
Denver at Atlanta (-6.5): Denver’s D is terrible and Hotlanta is raising some eyebrows with their play. Who knew Matt Ryan would be this good?!??! We thought he would be a draft bust-nice work on showing us up Ryan. You and your team are rollin’ and could win the South. We are taking the Falcons and giving the points.
Oakland at Miami (-10.5)- Teams are 0-12 when they travel West to East this season and the Raiders are freakin terrible and run by a Vampire.
The Fins play really well at home and look nothing like the ‘07 team. The Raiders are just a mess. We are taking the Fins and giving the points.
Arizona at Seattle (+3): This is our upset special of the week. The Cards are TERRIBLE on the road. They get their asses handed to them everytime they leave lovely Zona. Playing in Seattle is tough. The Cards will have nothing for the ‘Hawks this week. FACTS: ‘Hawks are 3-0 ATS in their last 3 games against the Cards at home. We are taking the ‘Hawks and the points.
Flash Picks
Eagles at Bungles (+9.5): The Bungles just have nothing to offer. The Eagles are desperate for a win to keep any kind of pace in their division. We don’t like the points, but the Eagles should be fine. FACTS: Eagles are 0-7 ATS in their last 7 against the Bungles (I’m going against the numbers). Take the Eagles and give the points.
Baltimore at NY Giants (-7): The Gints are clearly the best team in football right now. The Ravens, although surprising people with how well they have rallied around Flacco, are just not there yet. Going on the road into the Meadowlands is just too much to ask of them to keep this game close. The Ravens will not be able to keep pace with the Gints. I’m taking the Gints and giving the points.
Dallas at Washington (+1): I’m road-tripping for this game so I can see the downfall of the Cowboys firsthand. They are terrible and having Romo back means nothing-they were terrible before he was injured. The Boys are 3-6 ATS on the season and the Skins always have their number. It is a joke that the Skins are getting points in this one. I like the Skins to win and cover!
Runny Picks
Texans @ Colts (-8): The Colts are off an impressive win in Pittsburgh last week. One thing is for sure-they know how to rally. That could be the turning point of their season. However, I like this game more for who is not playing for the Texans-Schaub. Sage cannot do it on the road. FACTS: The Colts are 3-1 ATS in their last 4 at home against the Texans. I’m taking the Colts and give the points.
Bears @ Packers (-3.5): Bitter rivalry game and I love it!! The Bears go into another week not sure if Grossman will still be their QB. I don’t think it will matter. The Bears D is good enough to keep this game close, and the Packers D is not very good. Even if Grossman gets the nod, the Bears can keep this game within a field goal. I’m taking the Bears and the points.
Saints @ Chiefs (+5.5): The Saints have a terrible D. The Chiefs are playing better, but just not winning. They had a chance last weke to beat the Chargers at home. If they can keep it close against the Chargers D, they can do the same against the Saints. I love the points. Take them and the Chiefs.

RPJ Betting $yndicate Picks (14-10 on the season)
Game 1
Jags @ Bungles (-7.5): The Jags need a rebound game after their upsetting loss last week to the terrible Browns. Good thing for them they get the Bungles this week. Cincy is terrible. Absolutely the worse team in the league. They have no threats anymore. Their season was done after week one. They are soft. The Jags are the exact opposite. We don’t think the Bungles score a point against this team. FACTS: Bungles are 1-7-2 ATS in their last 10 match-ups with the Jags and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 at home against the Jags. It will be ugly. Take the Jags and give the points.
Game 2
Ravens @ Browns (-2):These teams hate each other and the Ravens delivered a beatdown when these teams met earlier in the season. In that game, Flacco went bonkers and showed he was worthy of a 1st round pick. We think he snuck-up on the league early in the season. The Browns will know what to expect this week. The Browns are playing better and are slowly getting the players back. We like them to rebound here. FACTS: Browns are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings with the Ravens and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings with the Ravens at home. Take the Browns and give the points.
Game 3
Packers @ Titans (-4.5): The Packers roll into Tennessee with a freshly minted QB at their helm to face the undefeated Titans. The Titans put it on the Colts last Monday night. Their D is sick! They are well coached and play the game very, very well. The Packers are good, too, but we think the Titans have too much for them at home. Rodgers has shown that he does not do well against D’s that bring consistent pressure from different spots. FACTS: The Titans are undefeated ATS this year. Take the Titans -4.5.
Flash Flash Picks (5-3 On the Season)
Cowboys at Giants (-9.5) - I had to pull a sneak attack on Runny with this picks. He is a huge Cowboys fan and did not want me to write this game up. This is one of my favorite games of the week. Giants hate the Cowboys and have been talking about this game all week. Giants get the Cowboys at home, minus Romo, minus Felix Jones and the Boys limp in on both sides of the ball. Giants will be looking for the knockout punch to send the Cowboys as far down the standings as they can. Some tasty tidbits…Cowboys are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 vs. NFC East. Cowboys are 2-5-2 ATS in their last 9 meetings. Giants are 7-0 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. Easy money. I am picking the Giants to win and cover!
Runny Picks (13-19-1 On the Season)
Eagles @ Seahawks (+7): The Eagles are finally healthy, and it showed last week in their beatdown of the Falcons. This is a tough road game for them, but I still like them to cover. They are well coached and they will be playing a Seahawks team that is DECIMATED with injuries. I think the Eagles roll here. Take the Eagles and give the points.
Pats @ Colts (-6):These teams hate each other and their are so many side stories to this game. However, it is a different meeting given injuries to key players (i.e. Tom Brady). It is not certain that Reggie Wayne will play, but I don’t think it matters. The Colts need a rebound win immediately. This game is their season. I like them at home, and I don’t trust Matt Cassel in big games. FACTS: Colts are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings against the Pats (all of those games had Brady). Take the Colts and give the points.
RPJ $yndicate Breast shot of the week!
As always, good luck with your picks.
Runny & Flash
2008 WEEK 8 FREE NFL WINNING PICKS and Tig Ole Bitties!!!
RPJ had a winning week last week and just like in NCAA we are sitting around 500. RPJ $yndicate is 10-10 on the season, Runny Pelvis is 13-15-1 on the season and Flash is 5-3. We could have been 3-0 last week but Seattle backdoored us with less than two minutes to go. Flash is still pissed about it and to try and make him feel better we are going to flash a bunch of nice breasts here to take his mind off of it.
Why not show one more set of round mounds before the picks.
RPJ $yndicate Picks (10-10 On the Season)
Atlanta at Philadelphia (-9): This is a ton of points to give a hot team. No doubt Matt Ryan was worth Atlanta’s 1st round pick. He pulled a great win out of his hat last game against the Bears at home. The Bears have a solid D, too. Very, very impressive. The key to this game, however, will be the effect of the bye on the Eagles. We think it helps them HUGE-maybe more so than any other team in the league. It gives them added rest, and, most importantly, it gets Westbrook back. That cannot be under stated. Reid is a great coach and he will have the Iggles prepared. They will be riding the wave of the Phillies’ win. FACTS: Iggles are 3-1 ATS in their last 4 at home against the Falcons. Take the Iggles -9.
Washington at Detroit (+7.5):This game is pretty easy to figure-the Lions are TERRIBLE. Way worse than the Fins last year. They will get pummeled in this one. Orlovsky is not a NFL QB. Calvin Johnson excluded, they have no threats on offense (averaging less than 100 yards rushing per game). Their D is suspect (they allowing nearly 5 yards per rush on D). The Skins will grind them down and roll to an easy win. FACTS: Skins are 3-1 ATS in their last 4 against the Lions. Take the Skins -7.5.
Giants @ Pittsburgh (-3):Both teams are outstanding and very evenly matched. That is why we love the Dof in this one. Plus, the Steelers are a mess with the Holmes suspension and their injuries. It will be close. Take the Giants +3.
Flash’s Picks (5-3 On the Season): Nothing this Sunday. Check back with us tomorrow for our Monday Night action.
Runny’s Picks (13-15-1)
Cinncy @ Houston (-9), OVER/UNDER 45:If you read our blog, you will know we have no respect for the Bungles. I think they may be the worse franchise in sports history. Absolutely terrible. But, every Dog has its day. I think the Bungles get it done this week. They will probably lose, but they will make it a game. Fitzpatrick is slowly improving and they may finally have a running game with Cedric Benson. On the Texans side of the ball, their D is TERRIBLE. May be worse than the Bungles’. Again, that may not be enough for thge Bungles to win, but it is enough to keep it close. I’m taking the Bungles and the Points. Also, as noted, the Texans have a terrible D. So do the Bungles. It will be high scoring. Weather will not be a factor. Take the OVER 45.
Chargers @ Saints (+3): The Saints are still their enigma selves-at times they are brilliant, while at others they are terrible. One thing for sure is they have absolutely no D. None. Add that to the facts that two of their players tested positive for juice and their best offensive weapon, Reggie Bush, is out. I don’t give the Saints much of a chance. The Chargers have been called out in the press for not being tough. They will rebound this week. look for a HUGE game from LT. Take the Chargers -3.
Chiefs @ Jets (-14): This is a ton of points, but there are clear reasons for this line. The biggest two are that the Chiefs are forced to ride with their 3rd string QB again and they suspended LJ. Colby Smith cannot get it done for this team on the road. Favre will be looking for redemption for his terrible play last week in Oakland. Take the Jets in a blowout.
RPJ Breast Picture of the Week

Runny and Flash
2008 WEEK 6 FREE NFL WINNING PICKS!!!!!!!!!!!
Greetings folks! Another glorious week of NFL football is upon us! Let us begin, as always, with our stats:
RPJ: 7-8
Flash: 3-2
Runny: 9-11-1
The $yndicate is climbing back towards respectability, Flash is still winning and Runny is sucking it right now. Still more than half the season to go, so we know there is plenty of time to make it up. We came out you with our ass video and picture of the week, for all of you breast guys out there we are going to make the NFL our Breast of the week feature. Here is what we like this week:
RPJ $yndicate Picks
Bears @ Falcons (+3): Matt Ryan led his Falcons to an impressive win last week in Green Bay. Can he make it two-in-a-row against the NFC North? Nope. Bears D is too good. He has not played a D this good yet. He will get pounded. Kyle Orton is riding his neck beard all the way to 1st place!!! This game will not be close. Take the Bears -3.
Bungles @ Jets (-9): The Bungles start Ryan Fitzpatrick this week as Palmer nurses his swollen vulva. Terrible. The Bungles go winless this week, too. Ocho Cinco needs to spend more time thinking about how to catch a ball in the endzone rather than what idiotic handle he can give himself. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some Ocho Cinco, but until his team wins and he contributes, he needs to shut-up. Jets are off the bye. The Bungles have no D. Music to Favre’s ears.
Runny Pelvis Picks
Patriots @ Chargers (-5): Bitter rivals in this one. The Pats seem to get the better of them everytime. However, the Pats are starting Matt Cassel at QB. The Chargers have one of the worse secondaries in the league, but it won’t matter this week. Chargers win big at home. Take the Chargers -5.
Cowboys @ Cardinals OVER/UNDER 52: The Cowboys are always the ATS enigma. They have the talent to cover but they always burn me. The only certainty about this team is that they are undisciplined and they can score on anyone. Also, their D, specifically their secondary, is terrible. They cannot stop a good passing game. Fortunately for the Cards, that is exactly waht they have. When Warner has time he can pick apart anyone. He will get the time this week. The Cards are a solid home team under Wisenhunt. They will score, too. The Cowboys will probably lose this game outright, but who knows. They have the talent to blow the Cards out. The OVER is a solid play. Take the OVER 52.
Lions @ Vikings (-13): The Lions are a complete disaster. They finally severed ties with Matt Millen, but there is still a ton of work to do to get this team on the right track. They head to Minnesota off a complete decimation at the nads of the Bears last week. They need to win just to salvage some self-respect. The Vikings have a solid D, and they did squeak out a win last Monday in New Orleans. Special teams helped them huge last week. They should get the win at home this week, but we have faith that the Lions will show-up somewhat to keep it within 13. Take the Lions +13.
Flash Flash Picks
Miami at Houston (-3) - Going to keep riding the Dolphins train right now. This team is winning and gaining confidence by the day and I love how they are pounding the run and limiting their turnovers. In a sign that things are moving in the right direction, the Fins out gained the Pats by 235 yards and the Chargers by 188. They were not beating up on the Rams or Raiders. The Texans are still learning how to win and flat out gave their W away last week to burn Runny on his pick. I know he is still cursing them. The ATS numbers do not favor one team over the other and I am playing my models. I am taking Miami and the points.
St. Louis at Washington (-13.5) - This is not the time for the Rams to try out there new coach. The Skins have proven to be one of the most physical teams in the NFL and are finally coming home off of great wins versus the Cowboys and Eagles. They have also banged out four straight ATS wins.
Rams
Rams are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games in October.
Rams are 4-17 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
Rams are 0-8 ATS in their last 8 games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game.
Rams are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a double-digit loss at home.
Rams are 0-7 ATS in their last 7 games overall.
Rams are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 vs. NFC.
Redskins
Redskins are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall.
Redskins are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games.
Redskins are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 vs. NFC.
Redskins are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. win.
Redskins are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS win.
Redskins are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game.
Redskins are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games on field turf.
Skins win this game easily. Take the Redskins to win and cover!
Now on to what all you pervs are interested in. The breast shot of the week!
Flash Flash and Runny
NFL WEEK 4 2008 PICKS: MONDAY NIGHT MADNESS!!!!!
Greetings folks. As a group, we went 6-0 yesterday on our picks. That’s right…6-0!!! You can’t beat that and we knew we would recover. We are about to go 7-0 and this is what I like:
Runny Pick
Ravens @ Steelers (-6): Flash is not rollin’ with me on this one. This game did not pass one of his models, but I feel very good about it with mine. Another great Monday Night match-up of two bitter division rivals. These teams play each other hard and usually knock the snot out of one another. Both teams limp into this one with the Steelers being banged-up on the offensive side and the Ravens being hobbled on D. What will give?
There are two things that stand out to me about this game. The first is that this is Joe Flacco’s first road start. He hasn’t left Baltimore yet, and he is about to be thrown into the fire. The Steelers will give him a ton of looks he has never seen before. Flacco has looked good, but this game is different. He is not going up against the Bungles and the disappointing Browns. My take is never trust a rookie QB in a rivalry game on the road on Monday Night.
Which leads me to the next thing that stands out: the line. For bitter division rivals that pound each other, this line is huge. The Ravens have the league’s best D. They are 2-0 and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 against the Steelers. No way this line should be that high. However, it is and it yet again points to VEGAS KNOWS!!! I think this game is a trap. I’m not falling for it. Take the Steelers -6.
Good luck with your picks.
Runny
2008 NFL Week Four: Free Winning Picks and Chicks
Greetings folks. A decent, but not good, Week Three brought us back a little closer to respectability. However, we know we have a ton of work to do to right the ship. Our NFL season records are as follows: RPJ $yndicate is 3-7, Flash is 2-1 and Runny is 5-7. Still pretty bad, but we ain’t stopping!!!!
Well in keeping with tradition, when we blow we show more picks of hot chicks:
Here is what we like this week:
RPJ $yndicate Picks
Cardinals @ Jets (-1): The Cards looked awful last week against a Skins team that we think is pretty overrated. The Jets were just as bad against a hungry Chargers team on Monday night. What will give? The key to his game is the Cards and their road woes. They are terrible on the road. They have studs on offense and a decent D. There is no reason they should be Dogs in this game (or their last). Also, look at these facts: Jets are 11-1 ATS as home favorites vs. opponents that are .600 or better and 12-2 ATS off of Monday Night games. Nuff said. Take the Jets -1.
Falcons @ Panthers (-6.5): Don’t be fooled by the Falcons. Although they are 2-1, their two wins were against terrible teams (Lions and Chiefs). Their sole loss was a beatdown against the Bucs. The Panthers are more like the Bucs than the Lions and Chiefs. They will win, and when they win at home they are 44-8 ATS. Also, never take rookie QBs on the road. Take the Panthers -6.5.
Runny Picks
Chargers @ Raiders (+7.5): This pick pains me because I like Lane Kiffin and I think the Raiders are better than they get credit for being. I just don’t think they have enough this week, despite the fact that the Chargers are traveling off of Monday Night (if you are a reader of our blog, you’ll understand the reference and stat). Facts: Raiders are 1-9 ATS in their last 10 and 0-6 ATS in their last 6 at home against the Chargers. This is a lot of points, but Rivers is the best QB in the league right now. Take the Chargers -7.5.
49ers @ Saints (-4): The Niners are off of a dominating win last week at home. They are young and their D seems to be on the right track. However, I am not sold on J.T. O’Sullivan. Plus, they re going on the road against a Saints team that can do some damage on offense. Facts: Niners are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 against the Saints and under Nolan, the Niners are 2-13 SU and 4-11 ATS away against non-division teams. I love the Saints in this. Take the Saints -4.
Bills @ Rams (+8): The Rams are lost and Linehan has lost this team. Players are openly stating that they don’t want to play for him and Trent Green is getting the start this week. Terrible. The Bills are loaded and are playing well. Facts: Rams are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 against the Bills and 0-12 SU and 2-10 ATS against inning teams under Linehan. This will be bloody. Take the Bills -8.
Flash Flash Picks
I should be 3-0 and I am not bitter about it or anything. I love the backdoor but I hate backdoor covers.
Only one pick for me this week and that is Redskins (+11) at Dallas. This is too many points and I live the ATS numbers.
Redskins are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. win.
Redskins are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS win.
Redskins are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall.
Redskins are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 vs. NFC.
Redskins are 21-8-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
Cowboys are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall.
Cowboys are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.
Cowboys are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 vs. NFC.
Cowboys are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 vs. NFC East.
Head-to-Head
Redskins are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings.
Underdog is 17-4 ATS in their last 21 meetings.
I do not think the Skins will win but I think they are playing better and can keep this within ten points. Take the Skins with the points!
As always, good luck with your picks.
Runny & Flash
WEEK 16 NFL PICKS: SUNDAY’S BEST
A good start to the weekend for us with the Panthers pulling through for us against the Cowboys. With Saturday’s win, our season ATS record stands at 60-47-1. Here is what we like on Sunday:
Packers @ Bears +8.5: The Bears gave the Pack a surprising beatdown in their match-up earlier this year. The Pack have been dominant since then. Their only blemish was a debacle in Dallas. The Pack won’t make those mistakes again. However, the Bears are hungry to salvage something from this season. Kyle Orton gets the start again and the Bears D knows that the game is in their hands. They love playing Favre. Especially at home. We think they will be amped for this game. The Pack will win, but the Bears D will keep them in it. Plus, the nasty weather in the Windy City will help the Bears. Take the Bears +8.5.
Texans +7 @ Colts: The Texans have been up and down all year. The Colts are CRUSHED by injuries. They squeaked by the Raiders last week in Oakland. We think their injuries on D will produce the same result this week at home against the Texans. The Texans can score some points. They will score some more this week. Ignore the fact that the home team in this match-up is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 meetings. Take the Texans +7.
Dolphins @ Patriots -22: Before last week, everyone was looking to this game for a Cinderella story and hoping that a winless Fins team could end the Pats run to perfection. The Ravens made sure that the Fins would not be winless coming into this game last week. The Patriots are going to make sure their run to perfection will stay in play this week. Not only will they win, they will win big. Don’t follow the public in this one. The Pats beat them by 21 in their match-up earlier this season in Miami. They will do better than that on Sunday. Take the Pats -22.
Redskins @ Vikings -6.5: The Vikings managed to win last Monday night against the Bears despite a ton of turnovers. They will remedy the turnovers this week. The Skins will be without Rocky McIntosh. This is huge. Look for Adrian Peterson to have a big game. Take the Vikings -6.5.
Falcons @ Cardinals -10: The Falcons are getting players back from injuries while the Cards are pretty banged-up. There were signs of a little turmoil in the Cards loss last week as Kurt Warner blew up on the sidelines at one of his offensive coaches. That said, the Falcons are a joke. Take the Cards -10.
Jets @ Titans -8.5: With this line and how these teams have played the past few weeks, we would LOVE to take the Jets here. However, the reality is that the Jets are just decimated by injuries. Kellen Clemens was injured last week and is not expected to play. Laveranues Coles is out. That is just too much for this Titans team at home. Take the Titans -8.5.
Browns -3 @ Bengals: The Bengals have been infuriating to watch this year. Are hearts go out to any Bengals fan. This season must be torture. They are at home this week against their in-state rival. Their last meeting was a huge shoot out. This week will not be the same. The key to this game will be the D’s. It will be a close game. We just think the Browns have more weapons on offense than the Bengals do. Plus, the Bengals D is much worse. Take the Browns -3.
Good luck with your picks.
Flash & Runny
NFL WEEK 15: CAN’T WAIT ‘TIL SATURDAY!!!!!
Full steam ahead for the NFL now!!! Games are now on Monday’s, Thursday’s, Saturday’s and Sundays!!! That is what we are talkin’ about!! Disappointing start for us for the week with Thursday’s loss. We should have known better than to take the Broncos-we fell for the Vegas trap. We should have known Vegas had us when the line shifted from Houston being favored to the dog. It was a lesson we learned-we will not make that mistake again.
With the loss on Thursday, our season record stands at 54-40-1. Here is what we like today:
Bengals -8 @ 49ers: The Bengals head out West to face a struggling 49ers team. The Bengals are a mess, but the 49ers are, too. The 49ers have had terrible QB play all season. Alex Smith appears to be a bust. He is out. So is Dilfer. Getting the starting nod today is Shaun Hill. It is the same Shaun Hill who has been a back-up the past 6 seasons. He looked pretty darn good filling in for Dilfer last week ( going 22-for-27 and throwing a touchdown pass to Arnaz Battle) and all indicators say he has had an excellent week of practice. Maybe he will be better than any QB the 49ers have had this season?
Or, maybe he will be just as bad? We think it is the later. The Bengals have been TERRIBLE all year. Very inconsistent. Very disappointing. At times it seems as though they have quit. However, they are playing better now. Last week they put up 19 on a very solid Rams D. The week before that they lost badly to the Steelers, but that game was played in terrible weather. They did seem to quit in that game, but the week before that they SPANKED a Titans team that may make the playoffs. Overall, their play over the past few weeks has been a snapshot of their season-at times they play like everyone thought they would and at other times, they have been terrible. We think the better Bengals team shows up this week.
The 49ers are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 home games. The Bengals are 17-8-1 ATS in their last 26 road games. We think those trends continue today. We like the Bengals to cover. Take the Bengals -8.
NFL WEEK 14 PICKS
Another Thursday night winner for us in the Skins-Bears brings our record to 45-36-1. We are getting where we need to be. Week 14 is the week of the road favorite. Generally, in picking NFL games it is usually bad to go with road favorites. However, this week we like a few. Here is what we like for Sunday’s action:
Vikings -8.5 @ 49ers: This is a lot of points for the Vikings to give on the road. However, they have Adrian Peterson and they are on the road to face a terrible 49ers team. With all the credit that Adrian Peterson gets (all of it is deserved-if this kid does not win the ROY and MVP this year it will be highway robbery), the Vikings D should get some. They are flying under the radar with their play. They will strut their stuff this weekend against the 49ers. Look for heavy doses of Adrian Peterson and a lot of attacks on D. It will be a close cover, but we like the Vikings. Take the Vikings -8.5.
Cowboys -11 @Lions; OVER/UNDER 50.5: Another heavy road favorite. The Cowboys head north to the Motor City to face a struggling Lions team. Historically, the Lions have done well against the Cowboys. Will the Lions get their 10 wins? Unlikely, but if they do, they need to win this game. They won’t. The Cowboys have had 10 days to prepare for a game that is flying under the public’s radar, but not the radar of the Boys’ D. The Lions SPANKED them last year in Big D. The Boys are looking for payback. T-New and Bradie James have already come out with threats. They are focused and looking for blood. They will cover. Take the Cowboys -11. That said, the Boys D is vulnerable. Especially to the pass. With Roy Williams out for the Lions, it will limit their air attack. It won’t shut it down. The Lions will be able to score. Take the OVER 50.5.
Browns -3.5 @ Jets: Another road favorite. The Browns roll into NY/NJ to face a Jets team fresh off a beatdown of Miami. That beatdown was a fluke. The Jets are not a good team right now and they are hurt. The Browns win easy and cover. Take the Browns -3.5.
Panthers @ Jags -10.5: This is a lot of points. The Panthers threw up some points last week against the 49ers. However, the 49ers are bad. The Jags are not. They played the Colts close and don’t have as much injuries as the Panthers. We like the Jags to roll. Take the Jags -10.5.
Rams @ Bengals -9.5: Brock Berlin gets the starting nod for the Rams this week. That’s right…Brock Berlin. We remember him from his U days. He was terrible then. We are giving him no credit this weekend. Despite the Rams having a solid D, and the Bungles being the softest team in the league, we think Cinncy rolls at home. Take the Bungles -9.5.
Chargers -1 @ Titans: Another road favorite. The Chargers have been TERRIBLE ATS in their past 8 road games. The Titans are a completely different team with Haynesworth back. That said, he is still a little banged-up. He will play, but will his hammy hold-up. We don’t think he will be effective enough to stop LT. The Chargers are playing better and can cover. Take the Chargers -1.
Steelers @ Patriots -10.5: Probably the game of the week. Nearly EVERYONE thinks the Steelers will be the team to upset the Pats. Every analyst waxes on and on about how good the Steelers will run the ball and how great their D is. However, they are a completely different road team. They lost to the Jets for goodness sakes. The teams they did beat do not have the Pats arsenal, and they have lost to some terrible teams. The Pats haven’t lost to anyone. Also, pay attention to this spread. Despite all the hype and all the money in Vegas going to the Steelers this week, the Steelers are still a double digit dog. Vegas knows. Take the Pats -10.5.
There you go. Good luck with your picks.

NFL WEEK 13 PICKS
Great start to the week last Thursday night. The ‘Boys treated us right and that game played out exactly like we said. We hope you believed us about the Vegas trap and decided to roll with us. Thursday brought us a 2-0 night and brought our season record to 42-28-1. We like how we are looking so far in Week 13. Still, we know there is still a lot of ground left to go to get another winning weekend. We are confident though. Here is who we like on Sunday:
Falcons +3 @ Rams: This is our favorite game of the week. The Rams will be without Mark Bulger. Gus Ferotte mans the QB helm for the Rams. We saw how he did last week-atrocious. The Falcons are bad, too, but we think they will run all day against the Rams D. We love the Falcons. Take the Falcons +3.
Jets @ Dolphins -1: This is another game we like a lot. The Jets fly south to face the winless Dolphins. Here’s the thing though-despite being winless, the Fins are not THAT bad. Actually, let us re-phrase that. They are pretty terrible, but they have a very good D. Not amazing, but certainly pretty decent. The Jets are by no means good. In fact, we think this is a classic case of the records not really telling the whole story. The Jets have 2 wins, but are actually probably worse than the Fins. We think the Fins get their first (and probably only) W of the season this week. Take the Dolphins -1.
Chargers @ Chiefs +6: The Chargers were smoked in their last meeting. And that game was in San Diego. They head into KC in December. The words “KC in December” are probably the last things a visiting team wants to hear. The Chargers have won their last game against a terrible Ravens team. However, this season they are 1-4 on the road. And that is not ATS. That is their win-loss record. That is a joke. They may win this game, but it will be close. Take the Chiefs +6.
Buccaneers @ Saints -3: The Bucs have been great ATS lately. However, they head into New Orleans all banged-up. Garcia’s back is barking hard and it is questionable whether he even plays. Even if he does, he will be limited. The Saints are in a must win here. Although we hate taking them in this game, we think it is a good play. Take the Saints -3.
Browns @ Cardinals OVER/UNDER 51.5: We could not get a clear take on this game as far as who would cover. At first glance, this seems like a Vegas trap (see our post for last Thursday’s game). With the way the Cards have been playing and with their injuries, there is no way they should be favored. Then again, it is only 1 point. We are not comfortable recommending either team. What we are sure of, however, is that both teams can score some points. We love this over. Take the OVER 51.5.
Giants -1.5 @ Bears: The Bears pulled one out of their hats last week. The Giants looked terrible against the Vikings. That said, the Giants are still a better team. Rex will blow this one for them and end their season. Take the Giants -1.5.
Bengals +7 @ Steelers: The Bengals proved to be great for us last weekend. They head into the Steel City to face their hated rivals. The Steelers have been an enigma this year-terrible on the road and perfection at home. They are 8-0 ATS at home. We think that streak ends this week. Do not be surprised if the Bungles win this game outright. Take the Bengals +7.
There you go-7 more picks for week 13. Check in win us on Monday for our blog for the Pats-Ravens game. Good luck!!
