Greetings. We were very bad last night-our first losing night in quite some time- with a terrible 3-4 record. We did nail our Lock, but our overall season ATS record now stands at 109-92-5. For Locks, we are 4-2-1. On with tonight’s picks:

LOCKS:

Knicks @ Pistons -4.5: Only one Lock tonight and this is it. The Pistons are finally getting their stars healthy, but they are in a terrible funk. It will take some time for them to get back to the standards they are used to. That said, we love them tonight. Consider that the home team in this match-up is 17-8 ATS in their last 25 meetings. We love the healthy Pistons. Take the Pistons and give the points.

PICKS

Thunder @ Wizards +1: For the first time this season the Thunder have won 3 straight games. They go for their 4th tonight and we love their chances. They are hot right now and Kevin Durant is playing as well as anyone. Take the Thunder and give the point.

Cavs @ Hawks -2: We love that the Hawks are favored in this. We think they are a much better team. They play well together and they can run with anyone. They have too many weapons. Look for a terrible game from Shaq tonight. Take the Hawks and give the points.

Pacers @ Bulls -7: This line is pretty comical given how bad the Bulls are and their coaching woes. Still, they should rally around their coach and play with some intensity at home, but don’t be surprised if the pacers win outright. This is too many points to pass up. Take the Pacers and the points.

Timberwolves @ Spurs -11: The T’Wolves are on a decent spell as of late while the Spurs have been consistently inconsistent. On paper the Spurs dominate this match-up, but the Spurs are only 2-12 ATS in their last 14 against the NBA Northwest and they are very bad as double digit favorites. Take the T’Wolves and the points.

Hornets @ Rockets -6: We are very curious as to how the Rockets are going to respond to the TMac drama. The Hornets are iffy at best, but we love the points. Plus, the Hornets are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games in Houston. We like CP3 in this one. He will get them the cover. Take the Hornets and the points.

Warriors @ Lakers -11.5: The Lakers seem to be in one of their ruts, but they are at home facing a Warriors team that is still injured and just not as good. This is the perfect rebound game for the Lakers. Even without Artest, the Lakers should dominate this game. Take the Lakers and give the points.

Here is what we like tonight:

Wizards @ Raptors -6.5: The Raptors are hoping that a little home cookin’ will end their recent slump. They have not covered in their last 3 and they have lost 4 of their last 5 (not covering in any of the losses). Our system and calculations tell us to jump on the Raptors here, especially since they are home and healthy. However, despite the Wizards inconsistent play this year, they are a better defensive and rebounding team than the Raptors. They are rested, too. We like that combo on the road. We like Gilbert Arenas matched up against the Raptors guards and we think Antawn Jamison can contain Chris Bosh. The key for the raptors will be if Hedo Turkoglu gets hot. If he does, it will be a long night for the Raptors. However, we think Caron Butler can keep him in check (somewhat). We think the Raptors will win, but this is too many points. Take the Wizards and the points.

Is It Us, Or Does Chris Bosh Look Like The Predator?!?!? The Resemblance Is Striking!!!

Celtics @ Bobcats +4: Man, the Bobcats are getting no love from Vegas!!! They are on fire right now and they are playing possibly the best team of any in the NBA. The Celtics have been winning, too. Both teams come into this game winning 4 straight (Celtics are 2-2 ATS in those games, while the Bobcats are 4-0 ATS). This is a very tough game to call. We love the Bobcats D and energy, but this is the Celtics. The Celtics can play D with the best of them and they can score on pretty much any team in the league. The key to this game will be free throws. With that, the Celtics have the advantage. We like the Celtics to make it 5 straight wins and 3 straight covers. Take the Celtics and give the points.

Suns @ Knicks +7.5: This line is pretty low considering how bad the Knicks are and how good the Suns have been all season. We think it is a product of the Suns travelling and coach D’Antoni knowing his old team and players. That said, we don’t think neither will matter much for this game. The Knicks are terrible. Just terrible. Their close games against the Celtics, Magic and Nuggets were flukes. Steve Nash is playing like his old MVP self and the Knicks’ Duhon/Hughes two-headed monster will have no answer. The Suns have covered 4 straight and they done it in blowout fashion. It will continue tonight. Take the Suns and give the points.

Warriors @ Nuggets -14: The Warriors are playing out of their minds right now. It is unreal how they have circled the wagons and played this well with so many injuries. They are by far the team with the most heart this year. Monta Ellis is playing like a man possessed, and he doesn’t show any signs of wearing down. The Warriors have been out-manned and outgunned in nearly every game this year, but they are finding ways to pull through with wins and covers. That said, last night’s win was a little deceptive. They were getting handled by the Pacers until the end of the third quarter. The Pacers have shown a history all year of giving up in games and losing focus. They don’t have the grit it takes to close a team out. The Nuggets do. Despite their recent collapse against a terrible Timberwolves team, the Nuggets know how to win games and close a team out. That doesn’t necessarily translate into covering the spread, but it says a lot when predicting games. 14 points is a TON to give, but we like it. The reason is that the win last night for the Warriors was exhausting. Having to travel that night to get to Denver to play a rested Nuggets team would be tough for any team. It is magnified even more when the travelling team is decimated by injuries. We think tonight’s game will start in a similar fashion to last night’s-the Warriors will be done in a hurry. Unlike last night, though, the Nuggets will not let them back in. The loss to the Timberwolves was a wake-up call. Look for very improved D from the Nuggets. Take the Nuggets and give the points.

Heat @ Trailblazers -7: The Heat have been fortunate this year in that they haven’t had to venture too far from South Beach to play. That all changes tonight as the head to the great Northwest to face a young and hungry Trailblazers team. The Blazers have been in a mini rut (lost their last two games), but they have a HUGE home field advantage. We don’t care that the road team in this series is 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings. We think the Blazers roll. Take the Blazers and give the points.

Hornets @ Lakers -14.5: This is a TON of points to give to a decent (although undermanned) Hornets team. However, this is the Lakers and they are crushing teams right now. That said, the Lakers have a tendency to play down to opponents at times. Typically they rip off a bunch of games where they crush teams and then settle on cruise control and maybe lose a game they should win. They beat the Hornets earlier in the year by 16 at home, and that was a team with Chris Paul running point. CP3 won;t be there tonight and there is a good chance neither will Peja Stojakovic. That doesn’t bode well for the Hornets. We do not like these points, but our numbers say take the Lakers. Take the Lakers and give the points.

Greetings folks! 3-2-1 last night brings our season ATS record to 54-45-2. Again, we know this is not up to our standards, but with another winning night, we are moving in the right direction. There are a ton of games tonight, so we know we have a ton of opportunities for more winners. We are busy and we love it!! Check out our NCAA football and NFL posts for tomorrow’s and Friday’s games, too. We are working plays all weekend long!!! Sit back, eat some turkey and take our picks all the way to the bank!! We are looking to help you make some extra scratch for Black Friday shopping deals!! That said, here is the first step:

Clippers @ Pacers -5.5: The Pacers looked pretty darn bad last night in Toronto and are in the midst of a bad slump. They look to avoid their 5th straight SU loss and ATS loss. The bad thing is that in their losses, they have been pretty much blown out each time. Only in one of the 4 losses (against the Knicks) have they even kept it close. They are a team that looks very confused right now, and they are getting a Clippersteam that is rested and will probably have their young gun, Eric Gordon, back from injury. Even without Gordon, we like the Clippersto cover. We think the Pacers will win the game to end their losing streak, however, we think this is too many points to give. Take the Clippers and the points.

Raptors @ Bobcats -3: The Raptors have been terrible on the road this year and cannot stop anyone anywhere. They are off giving the Pacers a beatdown last night at home. They are terrible as Dogs this year (0-5 ATS in their last 5 games as Dogs), but we think they finally breakout of the Dog cover slump. Take the Raptors and the points.

76ers @ Celtics -13: The Celtics have been terrible as of late. This team is WAAAY better than this and they know it. After nearly losing to the Knicks last time out, the Celtics need to get back on track. They are rested and at home tonight against a 76ers team that is struggling, too. The 76ers lost a tough one last night in Washington and they may be without Elton Brand tonight. That is bad news for them. We think the Celtics finally right the ship tonight. We don;t care that the road team in this one is 18-8-1 ATS in their last 27 meetings. Take the Celtics and give the points.

Heat @ Magic -9.5: The Heat have been absolutely terrible in their recent games, losing 4 of their last 6 SU and 6 straight ATS. They get no relief tonight against a Magic team that is playing well as of late. The Magic are rested and do everything better than the Heat except field goal %. This is an easy cover. Take the Magic and give the points.

Ridiculous!! Dwight Howard Looks Like He Is Playing on Stilts!! Good Luck, Miami!!!

Bucks @ Hornets -2.5: The Bucks finally have Michael Redd back, but they are still without Andrew Bogut. The Hornets are still without Chris Paul. However, the Hornets have covered their last 4. We don’t think they make it a 5th. The Bucks are better defensively and on the glass. They have Redd back. The Hornets will have no answer for him. Take the Bucks and the points.

Cavs @ Pistons +6: The Cavs have not been a good team ATS, but neither have the Pistons. The Pistons will be without Prince and Hamilton (again). They will not have enough fire power to keep up with a rested Cavs team. We love this line. Take the Cavs and give the points.

Nuggets @ T’Wolves +8.5: This line seems a little like a trap because it is so low. The T’Wolves have not won since beating the Nets weeks ago. The Nuggets are one of the best teams in the league. On paper this seems like the line should be double digits. It may be a trap, so beware, but our analysis says ride the Nuggets all day. So, that is what we are doing. Take the Nuggets and give the points.

Mavericks @ Rockets -4: We hate the Mavs and love the Rockets. However, the Mavs own this match-up as of late. They also have more healthy weapons. Dirk is clutch. We love the points. Take the Mavs and the points.

Warriors @ Spurs -13.5: The Warriors are one of the hottest teams ATS right now, covering in 6 straight and 7 of their last 8. Unreal. They beat the Mavs outright last night with 6 freakin’ players!! Tonight they get another tough opponent in the Spurs, who are rested and ready. We love the attitude the Warriors have adopted since the injury bug hit. They have circled the wagons and look to pound everyone they play. However, tonight will be too much. The Spurs play well together and know how to win at home. They cover. Take the Spurs and give the points.

Grizzlies @ Suns -10.5: The Grizzlies are a terrible road team, but they are building confidence each night out. They are young and can really get after it. The Suns are off a lopsided win at the hands of the Pistons. We like the Grizzlies in this one because we think they match-up well against the Suns, and because they are playing solid D as of late. Take the Grizzlies and the points.

Nets @ Trailblazers -13: Nets are pathetic. Just terrible. They were crushed last night. They will get crushed again tonight. Take the Blazers and give the points.

Knicks @ Kings -4: The Knicks showed some poise last night making it a 10 point game against the Lakers. However, we think that was more of the Lakers just wanting to get out of dodge. The Knicks held their own against the Celtics last week, too. However, we think they happened to catch the Celtics in a slump. They are not a good team. We love the Kings tonight. Tyreke Evans should be back. Take the Kings and give the points.

Greetings folks! 3-1 last night brings our season ATS record to 51-43-1. We are back to moving in the right direction, and we love it! Like all gamblers, we are superstitious, and if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. So, we are going to ride our little people friends that worked for us last night and lead off this post with the little Kobe and Lebron:

76ers @ Wizards -3.5: Both teams have been HUGE disappointments this year. They are having terrible seasons. As bad as both teams are, the Sixers are the better of the two. We love the points. Also, today marks the year anniversary of the Wizards firing now Sixers coach Eddie Jordan. We think he will be extra motivated for a blowout. Take the Sixers and the points.

Pacers @ Raptors -4.5:Both teams have been struggling as of late with the Pacers losing their last 3. The Raptors bench has been decimated by injuries. However, they are an experienced team and have dominated this series as of late. We like them to continue that dominance tonight. Look for a solid game from Andrea Bargnani and for Jarrett Jack to get big minutes off the bench. Take the Raptors and give the points.

Warriors @ Mavericks -13: It is amazing what the Warriors have done with so many injuries. They have been DECIMATED by the injury bug but continue to hang in there. Even their coach, Don Nelson, is out tonight with pneumonia. Tonight they are as rested and they can be and play a Mavs team that has been known to be soft at times and is dealing with the injury bug of their own. The Warriors have covered their last 5 games while the Mavericks had a good run of covers until their last time out at home against the Kings. The Mavs seem to play down to their competition and even in their wins, they are not dominating. Certainly not as much as they should be. Although the home team in this match-up dominates the spread (14-3 in the last 17 meetings), we like the Warriors to keep it within 13. Take the Warriors and the points.

Nets @ Nuggets -14: The Nuggets have not lost a regular season home game in nearly 9 months and the Nets have yet to win at all this season. You probably couldn’t find two teams that more opposite than these two teams. That said, we like the Nets to cover tonight. The primary reasons is that despite their records, the Nets are a better rebounding and defensive team. That is HUGE. Also, despite their 4-9 ATS record this season, the Nets are 4-1 ATS when they are double digit dogs. Take the Nets and the points.

We Smell a New Jersey Win!!!!!

Thunder @ Jazz -8: We love the Thunder and what they are doing this year. However, they are still extremely young and are on a rod trip against some of the league’s best teams. They were blown out Sunday night against the Lakers and their inexperience showed. Now they head up to Utah to face a Jazz team that is slowly but surely getting their pieces back healthy. Mehmet Okur should be back tonight. He will provide a big scoring and defensive boost. The Thunder have been solid in these recent match-ups (6-2 ATS in their last 8 meetings), however, we think Utah has what it takes tonight. Take the Jazz and give the points.

The Knicks will realize tonight that they are bad. The Lakers are 2-0 ATS since Pau Gasol returned. They are at home and rested. This game will be ugly. Take the Lakers and give the points.
