FREE WINNING NBA PICKS FOR DECEMBER 1, 2009
Greetings folks. 3-1 last night brings our season ATS record to 66-54-2. We are making people straight cash money and we hope you are taking advantage of our picks. Our goal is to make you as much money as possible to bring down Vegas, your bookies an any websites you may frequent. The best part is our picks are totally free with absolutely no strings attached. Just read, enjoy and make your money!!
First things first:

Guess Who's Back....Back Again...Lil Kobe & Lil Lebron Are Back...Tel A Friend. Don't Forget To Mention The Winning Picks!!!!
Hornets @ Lakers -14.5: This is a TON of points to give to a decent (although undermanned) Hornets team. However, this is the Lakers and they are crushing teams right now. That said, the Lakers have a tendency to play down to opponents at times. Typically they rip off a bunch of games where they crush teams and then settle on cruise control and maybe lose a game they should win. They beat the Hornets earlier in the year by 16 at home, and that was a team with Chris Paul running point. CP3 won;t be there tonight and there is a good chance neither will Peja Stojakovic. That doesn’t bode well for the Hornets. We do not like these points, but our numbers say take the Lakers. Take the Lakers and give the points.
As always, good luck with your picks.

FREE NBA PICKS FOR NOVEMBER 20, 2009
Greetings folks! We hope to build some momentum off our 2-1 night last night. Typically on nights with only 3 games, we expect to be 3-0. However, we’ll take the wins as we can. As it stands, our season record ATS is 45-35-1. Due to some time constraints, we are leaving out a lot of the detail we typically provide. Know that everything below fits our models and is what we personally are backing. That said, here is what we are rollin’ with:
Cavs @ Pacers +4: Take the Cavs and give the points-LeBron will play and be fine.
Grizzlies @ 76ers -5: Take the Grizzlies and the points.
Heat @ Raptors -3: Take the Heat and the points.
Rockets @ Hawks -7: Take the Hawks and give the points.
Magic @ Celtics -6: Take the Celtics and give the points.
Wizards @ Thunder -4: Take the Wizards and the points.
Kings @ Mavericks -11: Take the Kings and the points.
Bobcats @ Bucks -4: Take the Bobcats and the points.
Trailblazers @ Warriors: +8: Take the Blazers and give the points.
Nuggets @ Clippers +9: Take the Nuggets and give the points.
Sorry for the brief post. As always, good luck with your picks.

NBA PICKS FOR NOVEMBER 18, 2009
Greetings folks. We had a terrible night last night with a 3-5 record. It is our first losing night in over a week. We have had a good run as of late, but we know another 3-5 night can happen at any point and we need to stay focused. The 3-5 night brings our season ATS record to 37-28-1. That is not even close to where we need to be (our goal is 65%). So, back to work….here is what we like tonight:
Cavs @ Wizards +5: The Cavs are just not covering and they are pretty banged up. Shaq is out again and there is a good chance no Anderson Varejao tonight. Even without them in the line-up, they are a good team, but this will be a tough road game. Washington has played the Cavs well in recent years and the Dog is 7-1 ATS in their last 8 meetings. This game will come down to Agent 0 and whether he has learned to follow his instincts like he did in the past. He has been a tentative player and if the Wizards are to keep this game close, they need to Agent 0 that drives to the basket and plays instinctively. We think he will do it tonight. Plus, the Wizards may be getting Antawn Jamison back tonight for the 1st time during the regular season. Take the Wizards and the points.
Bobcats @ 76ers -4: The Sixers have been extremely inconsistent. They don’t play D andtheir front court has no clue how to rebound. In our opinion, Elton Brand has been a bust, and at best, was the wrong guy to fit in with their style of play. The Bobcats are fresh off a close loss to the Magic. Stephen Jackson looked solid in his debut. Hopefully for the Bobcats, he will be a positive force on and off the court this year. Larry Brown does have some experience successfully managing problem child players. This will be a tough game for them because the Sixers are rested and waiting for them. However, the Sixers will be without Marreese Speights tonight. Speights has arguably been their spark on offense this year. We’ll see how the Sixers respond. We think Jackson will have a solid game and keep it within 4. Take the Bobcats and the points.

Trust Us, If This Guy Comes Down Your Chimney This Christmas, Call The Cops Immediately!!!!! All We Want For Christmas Are Some Covers!!!!
Thunder @ Magic -12.5: Just when the Magic seem to get all of the pieces of their puzzle together on the court at once, they lose a major piece. Jameer Nelson is out for the next 4-6 weeks with a bum knee. This is a HUGE blow for the Magic, who struggled at times in their win Monday night against the Bobcats. However, Jason Williams will get the starting nod tonight in Nelson’s absence. He is certainly not the player he once was, but he is not terrible. We think he will surprise teams with his ball handling ability. The Thunder are legit and are off a HUGE win last night against the Heat. However, this Magic team is much, much better than the Heat team they faced last night. The Magic are rested, too. The game will come down to the front courts of each team. The Thunder, surprisingly, rebound much better than the Magic do. They also play better D. They also gave the Magic their worse loss of the season earlier in Oklahoma City. The Magic will be out for revenge and should be focused for tonight’s game. The Thunder have not lost by double digits all year and the Magic, with the exception of one game against the winless Nets, have not covered double digit spreads. We think the Thunder will have the energy needed to keep it within 12.5. Take the Thunder and the points.
Knicks @ Pacers -6.5:Man, the Knicks are so sad. The are to the NBA what the New York Mets are to baseball-overrated by the market they are in and very, very disappointing. The Knicks are winless on the road this year and probably will not get their first win on the road tonight. This Pacers team is good and really gets after the ball on both sides of the court. Danny Granger has to be an early MVP candidate and Roy Hibbert has been ridiculous in the middle. The Knicks will have no response for either. The Pacers are HOT (5 straight wins and covers) while the Knicks are not (6 straight losses and not covering in 5 of those 6 losses). The line is low because the Pacers played last night and the Knicks are rested. We don’t care. Take the Pacers and give the points.
Heat @ Hawks -7.5: The Heat looked terrible last night against the Thunder. They could not handle the size and energy the Thunder brought to the table. Things look bad for them tonight because that is exactly what the Hawks will bring at home. This team is young, athletic and fast. Each game they player better and better together. They will be a force in the regular and post seasons this year. The Heat are good, too, but they won’t have enough in the tank tonight. Look for another low scoring Heat performance. We love this line. The Hawks have covered every time they were the favorite this year. Take the Hawks and give the points.
Warriors @ Celtics -16.5: The walking wounded Warriors limp into Beantown to face a rested Celtics team. The Celtics have struggled as of late and look to avoid a 3rd straight loss. They will. We think they cover, too. Despite the spread being high, we think the Celtics are exactly what the Warriors don’t want to see right now: a rested, veteran team that is deep and plays well together. We think the game will be somewhat close until the 4th. The Celtics win big. Take the Celtics and give the points.
Rockets @ T’Wolves +5.5: The Rockets are off a big home loss to the Suns last night. The T’Wolves are off losses to pretty much everyone. They may get Al Jefferson back tonight, but even if they do, it won’t matter. Even a sluggish, tired Rockets team will cover this spread. The T’Wolves just have no answer for anyone right now. Trevor Ariza is opening eyes with his new role as a starter. He should have a solid night again. Take the Rockets and give the points.
Nets @ Bucks -10: The Nets have yet to win this season and are a dismal 4-7 ATS. The Bucks have been been outstanding this year and are tied for 2nd in the Central. With the exception of the Warriors, the Nets may have the most injured team in the league. It will not help them on back-to-back nights against a hot, relentless Bucks team at home. The Bucks will have just too much depth. Take the Bucks and give the points.
Clippers @ Grizzlies -5: The Grizzlies look to build on their win and avenge an earlier season loss against the Clippers tonight. We don’t think it will happen. Although we love OJ Mayo and Rudy Gay, we think the Clippers have a better roster. Plus they play much better D. We don’t think thegame last night will have too much of an effect on the Clippers tonight. The Grizzlies may win, but it will be close. Take the Clippers and the points.
Raptors @ Jazz -7.5: Deron Williams is back for the Jazz. That is HUGE for them. This has been along road trip for the Raptors who were crushed last night by the Nuggets. A rested Carlos Boozer should have enough to keep Bosh in check. The Jazz should win big. Take the Jazz and give the points.
Spurs @ Mavericks -2: The Spurs finally have their bug guns healthy, but even without them, they beat the Mavericks outright earlier in the month by 9. The Spurs are just a better team and the Mavericks are soft. Not much analysis for us on this one. The Spurs are winless on the road. They will right their ship tonight. They will win outright. We love the points. Take the Spurs and the points.
Pistons @ Blazers -10.5: This is one of our favorite games of the night. The Pistons are fresh off a beatdown at the hands of the Lakers last night. They are understaffed without Prince andHamilton. Travelling to Portland for a game in consecutive nights to face a rested Trailbalzerssquad is not what the doctor ordered. Portland is just much, much better in every phase of the game right now. Until the Pistons get Prince and Hamilton, they have only two legit scoring threats. One of those threats, Ben Gordon, plays crazy at times. Andre Miller will eat him alive. This game will not be close. Take the Blazers and give the points.
As always, good luck with your picks.

2008 NBA: Day 16 Picks
Greetings folks. We had another tough night last night going 2-3 ATS. That brings our season record to 20-23 ATS. We apologize for stinking up the joint in such a bad way. Believe us-we feel your pain. It is tough work and we know how bad it hurts. That said, we are not stopping and we will right the ship. Here is what we like tonight:
Bucks @ Cavs (-12): Take the Cavs and give the points.
Jazz @ Sixers (-4.5): Take the Sixers and give the points.
Nuggets @ Bobcats (+3): Take the Nuggets and give the points.
Hawks @ Bulls (-3.5): Take the Bulls and give the points.
Knicks @ Spurs (-3.5): Take the Knicks and gladly take the points.
Lakers @ Mavs (+6): Take the Lakers and gladly give the points.
Pistons @ Kings (+7.5): Take the Pistons and give the points (although it will be very close).
Wolves @ Warriors (-6): Take the Wolves and the points.
Good luck.

2008 NBA: DAY 15 PICKS!!!!!!!!!
Greetings folks. Took the weekend off to focus on football and get our plan together for this week. Our season record stands at a terrible 18-20 ATS. We know that sucks and we know we are having a pretty terrible year calling games all around. But, we are still here and will keep grinding. Our NBA models have grown a little-we are analyzing way more information in picking the games. Consequently, our picks may take a little longer. Also, more analysis means potentially wordy posts. We will do our best to avoid both. We are happy where this will be going. Tonight, we are going to keep this short and sweet. Here is what we like tonight:
Trailblazers @ Magic (-7): Magic win in a close cover. Take the Magic and give the points. (NOTE: We would take this more than -7).
Thunder @ Pacers (+11.5): The Thunder are terrible, but we love the points. Take the Thunder to cover.
Nets @ Heat (-8.5): Heat win in blowout. Take the Heat and give the points.
Raptors @ Celtics (-8.5): Raptors will win outright. Take the Raptors and the points.
Grizzlies @ Suns (-11.5): Take the Suns and give the points.
As always, good luck tonight.

2008 NBA: Day 12 PICKS!!!!!
Terrible 0-2 night last night brought our season record ATS to 16-16. We like quite a few games tonight. First things first….chick pick:
Now the picks:
Hornets @ Bobcats (+7.5):It is a homecoming for NC native CP3. Maybe a little for the Hornets, too. The Bobcats nearly won one last time out, but they played poor defense down the stretch and and coughed up the rock too many times. On the season, they are 5th worse in the league on D. That is bad news for them tonight. The Hornets roll. Take the Hornets and give the points.
Suns @ Bulls (+4.5): Suns are rollin’. Ride them while they are healthy and while those old legs still have some juice. The Bulls have no one inside to answer for Amare and Shaq. Take the Suns and give the points.
Pacers @ Cavs (-8.5): The Pacers are not good on D, and Lebron has finally found his scoring legs. However, this is too many points. The Pacers can hold on in this one enough to keep it close. Take the Pacers and the points.
Pistons @ Nets (+7.5): AI is set to make is long awaited debut tonight in NJ. The Pistons haven’t needed him nor Billups. They are playing really well right now. There should be some stumble as they get adjusted to their new teammate, but AI knows how to score. They will press the action a lot in this game. The Nets will not be able to keep up. Take the Pistons to win and cover.
Thunder @ Jazz (-11): This is a ton of points to give, but the Thunder are dead last in the league in scoring. They are just not that good. This is a tough road game. The Jazz roll. Take the Jazz and give the points.
Bucks @ Celtics (-13.5):Despite having an injured Michael Redd, the Bucks are playing really well. Richard Jefferson has stepped up his game and is showing why the Bucks landed him in the offseason. The Celtics have been deadly at home, but can get off to slow starts. They almost lost to the terrible Thunder, and won only because the Thunder killed themselves. The Bucks will not make those mistakes. Take the Bucks and the points.
There you go. Good luck with your picks.

2008 NBA: Day 3 Winning Picks
Greetings folks. Hope you like the picture above-we figured we had to start with something good after our 2-4 performance last night. However, we are still 5-4 on this early season. Here is what we like tonight:
Bobcats @ Cavaliers (-9): Larry Brown makes his ‘Cats debut tonight against the team he spurned. The Cavs gotta hate this guy-not only did leave them at the alter, he coached the much hated Pistons to a championship a couple of years ago. The past is the past and we are focused on the teams that take the court tonight. The ‘Cats will be playing much better under their new coach and with another year under their young belts. However, they will be without Sean May who is still recovering from a knee injury. Morrison is back, but how effective will he be this early into his recovery? We don’t think enough to slow down the Cavs. The Cavs were a tale of two teams opening night at the Celtics. They ended the 1st half up by 7, but turned the ball over 21 times and lost by 5. Terrible, but we know the Cavs are more like the team that played in the 1st half than the team that played in the 2nd. We love the Cavs tonight. Ignore the points.
Rockets @ Mavs (-4):Houston rolls into their game 2 (1-0) despite shooting 36.8 percent from the floor, getting out rebounded 49-44 and totaling more turnovers (12) than assists (10) in their debut last night against the Grizz. They won by 11, but looked pretty sloppy doing it. The Grizz are terrible, so they should have beat them much worse. The Mavs debut their 08-09 season tonight with new coach, Rick Carlisle. Time will tell if a new coach is the only thing keeping the Mavs from a championship. However, Carlisle is a solid coach and has had great success in the past. He knows how to put players in positions to succeed, and, most importantly, he stresses D. Defense and toughness are something this team has lacked. Avery Johnson had both as a player, but for whatever reason, he could not instill it into this team. Personally, we think it is the players, but who knows for sure. Regardless, we like them tonight. We think they will come out excited and ready to play. They know the Rockets can win this game and make them look bad at home in their debut. They will be ready. Also, the Rockets have lost 10 of the last 12 meetings in Dallas. Take the Mavs and give the points.
Hornets @ Suns (-3): Both teams played last night and won. The Hornets played terrible D and made a game close that should have been a blowout. The Suns handled the Spurs pretty well and exacted revenge against the team that has dominated them over the recent post seasons. The Suns will be looking for revenge tonight as they play a Hornets team that they did not beat at all last year. That is correct-they did not beat the Hornets at all last year. In their meetings, the Hornets played confidently and knew they could handle the experienced Suns. What should we expect tonight?
Pretty much the same. The Hornets are still young and have another year of experience playing together. This is a young man’s game and the Hornets clearly have that advantage. Sure, the Suns looked great last night, but let’s face it-the Spurs are old, too. The Suns guards couldn’t;t handle the Hornets’ guards last year, so there is no reason to think they can this year either. The Hornets got their scare last night against the Warriors. They will be ready for this game. Porter will be a good coach, but even great coaches can do only so much against superior speed and defense. Take the Hornets and the points.
Good luck.

2008 NBA Season: Day 2 Free Winning Picks
Greetings folks! Thought we would lead right off with three great things. First, the lovely lady pictured above. Second, we are still giving away free money-just click the link below and sign-up for a Bodog account. When you sign-up, you’ll get a 10% bonus on us. Who doesn’t love free cash.
Third, and most important, our record is 3-0 on the season!!!!! We are keeping it rollin’ tonight. Here is what we like:
Raptors @ Sixers (-5): If you’ve read our post of the past few years, you’ll know we have been huge Sixers and Raptors homers. Indeed, they have made us a lot of scratch over the past two years. They come into this season with high expectations with their off season moves. The Sixers landed probably the biggest prize with Elton Brand, while the Raptors countered with landing Jermaine O’Neal. We think O’Neal will make the bigger impact this early in the season. He will not be counted on the lead the Raptors-that job still lands on the very able shoulders of Chris Bosh. All things flow through Bosh for the Raptors. O’Neal will be a complimentary piece-and he will be a good on at that. Brand will eventually by the Man in Philly, but not yet. Historically, Bosh puts up HUGE numbers against the Sixers. We like him to do the same tonight. Take the Raptors and the points.
Hawks @ Magic (-8): We like another Dog in this one. The Magic are the better team, but we think the Hawks have enough fire to keep it close. They are young, hungry and despite their youth, they come into the season with a full year of experience playing with one another. The Magic have Dwight Howard, who is insane, but they did lose a huge part of their back court in the off-season. The Hawks have a veteran PG in Bibby-we love that in a road game. Take the Hawks and the points.
Heat @ Knicks (-2.5): Both teams come into ‘08 off hugely disappointing previous seasons. The Heat pretty much packed it in in hopes of landing Beasley (which they did) while the Knicks tried to cope with Isiah and his Starbury shenanigans. Isiah is gone, but Starbury is still there and will most likely come off the bench (gotta love a $26 million per year relief pitcher). The Knicks also find themselves in a state of transition trying to ramp up to coach D’Antoni’s up-tempo game. They don’t have the players for it yet, but getting Duhon in the off-season is a good start. We think the Heat cover and win outright. The reason is primarily a healthy Dwade, but they also have legit veterans in Marion and Haslem that can bring it. Marion can still score, and Haslem plays well in the paint. Plus, don’t forget about Beasley. He will do well in this game. He is a freak of nature. For the Knicks, until they show us otherwise, they are still a soft, nonathletic team. Take the Heat and the points.
Bucks @ Thunder (-2.5): Seems strange typing the “Thunder” team name, and it will be curious to see if basketball holds-up any better in OK City than it did in Seattle. Time will tell. The Thunder ride into ‘08 with new digs and the reigning NBA rookie of the year. They also made solid off-season moves nabbing Desmond Mason from the Bucks and Joe Smith. They are solid vets that will immediately help this young core of players. The Bucks were trounced last night in Chicago and head into OK City with a very sloppy debut under their belt. Back-to-back games on the road is tough, for anyone. The Bucks have lost 8 straight games on the road against this franchise. The OK City crowd will be rocking. Take the Thunder and give the points.
Grizz @ Rockets (-11.5): The Rockets open their season welcoming back old faces and one new one. Yao is back and finally healthy, and tonight will be Ron Artest’s Rockets debut. However, T-Mac is banged-up (as always) and is questionable for tonight. We think he plays, but he will be limited. Will it matter? We don’t think so. Sure, the Grizz have some good young players in Rudy Gay and OJ Mayo. Mayo has been very impressive in camp this year, but regular season is a much different game. The Rockets play outstanding, suffocating D. It will be too much for the Grizz. We think Mayo has a good night, and Gay will do his usual great things. The Rockets just have too much. We love them at home. Take the Rockets and give the points.
Hornets @ Warriors (+6.5): CP3 and the Hornets roll into Oaktown to face the Baron Davisless Warriors. Losing Davis in the off-season hurts this team badly. He was the anchor for that team last year, and we think his departure takes a lot of wind out of their sails. They will also be without Monta Ellis, who was suspended by the team for 30 games due to lying about a moped accident (we can’t make this stuff up). The Hornets are loaded and hell bent for leather. Adding James Posey in the off-season gives them another lock down defender to an already solid defensive team. They will pummel this team. 6.5 points is not enough. They win by double digits. The Warrios may not score 65 points. Take the Hornets and gladly give 6.5.
As always, good luck with your picks.

MLB & NBA Picks
Been a while since I made some picks. Here are my results to date:
- MLB: 16-18
- NBA: 16-6-1
- UFC: 4-2
Let’s see if I can get my MLB record up where it needs to be. Unfortunately, I only like three lines for tomorrow’s (Friday’s) action.
- Braves @ Rockies. Two of the games young guns square of in this one. James for the Braves. Francis for the Rockies. I like Francis a lot. I don’t think he is even close to hitting his potential. Even in that park. He is a slight underdog at home (Braves are -108, Rockies -102). He shouldn’t be. I’m taking the Rockies -102.
- Rays vs. A’s. Rays’ current streak is a little misleading. They are coming off an absolute beatdown of the Yanks, but that is somewhat deceptive. The Yanks are terrible and play with no heart on a consistent basis and they have the worse manager in baseball. A win against them isn’t that impressive, even for the Rays. However, things like that, especially for a young team, can build momentum fast. Real fast. They will be without Baldelli (possibly), but the A’s have been decimated by injuries. Harden. Swisher. They are all banged-up. They still play with fire though and never quit. Hats off to Bob Geren. That said, I think the Rays take this one. I think they ride the Yanks series and keep pressing. I like the line, too. Shields MOWED in his last start. I’m taking the Rays +140.
- Red Sox @ Yanks. Couldn’t let this one go. Espeically given the two starters: AP for the Yanks, Nomo II for the Sox. Between Sockgate, Schilling’s vagina, Nomo II’s overratedness, the Yanks being soft and having the worse manager in baseball, there is always so many sideshow debacles to this series that even if you don’t like either team, it is impossible not to check it out. The thing about last weekend’s beatdown is that the Yanks were in every game. They should have taken two out of three. I think they right the ship tomorrow night. I think they get to Nomo II early and often. I like AP as a stopper. I don’t think the Yanks will lose 7 in a row (despite Torre). I’m taking the Yanks -122.
NBA
- Bulls @ Heat. The Heat have looked terrible in this series. The Bulls have been playing like a team possessed. I think they hate the Heat and are looking to crush them. Despite that, the Heat are favorites at home. Vegas must be thinking that Riley can motivate them and right the ship. I think he will enough so to win, but not cover. I think this game will be close. I’m taking the Bulls +5.5.
- Raptors @ Nets. This has been a great series. Love watching Kidd run the floor and Bosh just be Bosh. Bosh is probably my favorite player the the league right now. HUGE fan. Wish he didn’t play in Toronto though. This will be another good game. I like the Nets to cover at home though. I’m taking the Nets -4.5.
- Warriors @ Mavs. Can someone pull Stephen Jackson aside and shake the sh*t out of him? Please! I think he was jealous that Baron got tossed, so he acted a fool just so he wouldn’t be left out. That team makes no sense. Nellie looks like he is going to explode in every interview. Everytime. Even when they win. Baron went off the reservation in a game his team still had a legit chance of winning. Nellie should bench him to start the game. No need for that prima donna crap. I think the Mavs figured out that they actually need to start playing. I think they CRUSH the Warriors. It will be ugly. This line is a joke and a mistake. I’m taking the Mavs -4.5.
Those are my picks. Good luck.

MLB, NBA & UFC Picks
The Yankees are soooo very bad. They should have beat the Red Sox tonight 8-2 easy. Cudos to the Red Sox for hanging in there. They got to Rivera and they deserved to win. That game showed me how much better of a manager Francona is than Torre. Night and day. Francona is ten times the manager Torre is. Not even close in comparison. My first plea to Cashman was to cut/trade Carla Pavano. My seconnd plea is to fire Torre immediately. Put Donnie Baseall in charge and hire Paulie O as bench coach. I think Torre was asleep until the 7th inning when he decided to start making moves. Why pull Pettitte with a 3 run lead? Why not leave Proctor in longer? Why bring in the guy (Vizcaino) who blew his laod and tank the day before, and then bring in Rivera for a two inning save?!? Especially given that you know they are going to have to use the pen a lot the next two games. With the go ahead run on 3rd in the 8th with one out, why not intentionally walk the batter to set-up the double play? And why, for goodness sake, do you bring the infield in?!?! he still hasn’t learned from 01. Sox will sweep.
Sorry for the rant. I hate losing picks. I went 2-2 (White Sox and Braves covered, Yanks and Jays did not). Brings my overall record to:
- MLB: 16-14
- NBA: 12-2-2
- UFC: 2-1
Now, on to the NBA playoffs!!! One of my favorite things to do is pick NBA games. Especially this time of year. Genrally, I don’t like to make picks out of every game. I usually try to spot faulty lines and pick accordingly. But, with the limited docket of games, and because it is so much fun, I figure I’ll give it a shot. Here it goes:
- Nets @ Raptors. This is probably my choice for the best 1st round series. I’m really psyched to watch this one. Both teams have been really great against the spread this year. Vinsanity has been taking SOOOOOOO much smack about this series. He even hoped that they got Toronto in the first round. Be careful what you get for though. Chris Bosh is a manchild. One of my favorite players and is HUGELY underrated. He came out of the same draft with mello, Bron and Wade, but never mentioned in their category. The time has come for the NBA to take notice. My heart is telling me to take the Raptors in this one. They are good favorites (-4.5) at home. However, they have been inconsistent as of late. The Nets have been ROLLIN’. I think the Raptors will win, but I think it will be a very close game. I just liek J Kidd and the veterans on the Nets. They will keep it close. I’m taking the Nets +4.5
- Heat @ Bulls. This is another great match-up. These two teams hate each other. Both have stumbled as of late, with the Bulls losing their last game against the Nets. A game that if they won, they would not even be playing the heat in the 1st round. The Heat have been banged-up and have been sporadic, at best. But, they are the defending champs. Until they are kncoked out, they are still the champs. The Bulls are hungry though and are looking to avenge the beatdown they got last year. They are young, athletic and play hard. But again, the Heat are the champs. And they have Shaq in the middle and Flash in their back court. Very, very tough game to call. I think the game will be close, so I’m taking the underdog. I’m taking the Heat +4.
- Magic @ Pistons. Magic just are not ready for the Pistons. Pistons are good and are built for the playoffs. Magic are 0-4 against them this year. Pistons are at home and will win this game big. I’m taking the Pistons -9.
- Jazz @ Rockets. Nearly everyone is talking about this finally being TMac’s year to get out of the 1st round. Possible, but the Jazz are damn good. Plus they are healthy now. They just beat the Rockets by 10, but the Rockets did not play TMac or Yao. That would have made a HUGE diference. I think the Rockets will win this game, but the depth of the Jazz will help them out. They will keep them in this game. It will be a close one. I like this line. I’m taking the Jazz +6.
Those are the NBA games for tomorrow. I’ll give Sunday’s picks tomorrow.
MLB
- Pirates @ Dodgers. Snell against Penny. Both have been great this year. I just love Ian Snell this year. Especially when he is the underdog. Will be a low scoring game. I like two picks in this game. I’m taking the Pirates +130. Also taking the under at 7.5.
- Twins @ Royals. Boof Bonser is not good. Grienke is really good, and the underdog. I like him at home. I’m taking the Royals +105.
UFC
- Gonzaga vs. Cro Cop. I have not changed my view on this all week. Cro Cop. Cro Cop. Cro Cop. Gonzaga will make this a good fight, but Cro Cop has too many weapons. I’m taking Cro Cop -500.
- Bisbing vs. Sinosic. Bisbing is fighting in front of his home crowd. This will not be a close fight. Bisbing will win easy and fast. I’m taking Bisbing -500.
- Arlovski vs. Werdum. Arlovski is a nut and so much fun to watch. I think he wins this one. Will be a good fight, but Arlovski will pull it off. I’m taking Arlovski -115.
Those are my picks.
Good luck.
